Amy and Crystal's Story

Crystal's p.o.v

Amy calls us all into the hideout's living room, saying that she has something important to tell us. I already knew what it was going to be about, but I still came anyway. I spot Shadow already sitting down on one of the couches and I go over to sit next to him. My heart starts beating faster the closer I get, and I need to figure out why. I smile at him right before I sit, but the moment I do, he gets up and sits somewhere else. I watched him in confusion. 'Why'd he move?' But I didn't have enough time to think about because Amy cleared her throat.

"Hi everyone. I thought it was about time for me to explain what's happening and why."

I stared at her in her white dress and red cardigan. 'Is she going to?..' I wondered.

"And I'll start by telling you guys Crystal and I's story."

'Yep. She is.' I finger my moon necklace, reminiscing the story as she told it. 

"At first, I didn't know about all this danger or anything. I just lived here in Mobius, happy and carefree. But then.. a shadow creature attacked me. And the one who saved me, surprisingly, was Crystal." She started.

'I remember that.' I thought. My mother told me that day that I had a twin sister. I was so surprised that I couldn't even sleep, so that day, I snuck out of the castle, since it limited my teleporting abilities, and just thought about what my sister might be like. Next thing I knew, poof, I was in Amy's bedroom, who was about to be kidnapped by a shadow creature sent by Minus. And to this day, I don't know how he figured out about Amy and her DMA powers.

"Anyways, after she saved me. She told me a lot of stuff that surprised me. She told me that I was her sister and since she's the princess from the kingdom of Kibo {This is Japanese ^w^), that meant I was a princess too."

Some people gasped at this. 'What? Is it that surprising that Amy's a princess?' Blaze turned to me and mouthed,' you're a princess?' I nodded and the looked back to Amy. 'Wait... Are they surprised because I'M a princess?'

"Other than telling me WHO I really am, she also told me WHAT I really was, a DMA. DMA stands for a Divine Magical Angel. There are 7 in total in the whole universe. There used to be eight, but no one knows what happened to her. A DMA has many powers, teleportation, telekinesis, super strength, super speed, and much more, each original to whatever element each of the girls chose at birth. The elements are The Sun, Moon, Water, Earth, Star, Fire, Creation, and the lost element, Tenshi {In Japanese again ;D}. I'm the Element of the Sun, and Crystal, of the Moon."vEveryone stared at us in wonder, even Shadow. I guess none of them knew that DMA's exist.

"I thought all the DMA's were gone. Dead. Just a legend." Sonic said (yes, even he came, despite the pain getting here).

"Yes, most people believe that, and in some way, it's true. The original DMA's died 17 years ago, in a fight to save the universe. That day, when they sealed off the evil, 7 babies were born, and with their last breath, they transferred their powers to the child compatible with it." Amy stopped and took a breath, preparing herself for what she was about to say next.

"But now, the evil that took the lives of 7 out of the 8 DMA's is back, and it wants revenge. Right now, it's still weak and can only send one of his monster servants that were imprisoned with him. After the attack against me, I lived with Crystal and my newfound family, which is how we found out about the SPP agency, an agency that is dedicated to protecting princesses, finding the rest of the DMA's, and defeating Minus if he gets out of his prison. Unfortunately, soon after we met them, we were attacked again, but with a greater force. So great, in fact, that our mother sacrificed herself to save us. We had no choice but to rely on the agency for our protection. This was two years ago, and since then, we have been training at the agency for the awaiting destruction called Minus." Amy let out all at once. Everyone there was surprisingly silent, all probably having many thoughts swirling around in their minds. Even I, after thinking about everything Amy has said, feel quite speechless, and I experienced everything she said happened. Tears started to well up in my eyes, and I quickly moved to wipe them away.

"Oh darling, are you crying?" Rouge, who was sitting beside me, asked. I shook my head, even though she already knew I was. Rouge leaned in and gave me a hug, and I started hiccuping, letting all my tears go free. 'Mother..' I thought. 'M-mom..'

Amy's P.O.V

I saw Crystal crying, and to be honest, I felt like crying too. But I knew I had to be strong for Crystal. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sonic getting up and limping towards me.

"Hey," I say quietly.

"It's okay to cry you know." He told me sincerely, looking into my eyes. I laughed, remembering how I had a crush on him when I still lived here. 

*Flashback*

I was in the park like always when a robot came crashing in. Everyone ran away, but I stayed and hid. Suddenly, a blue blur came crashing in and starting fighting the massive robot.

"Is that all you got egghead?!?" He yelled at an egg shaped man. 'That guy seems mad.' I thought, seeing his face go red. Then, out of nowhere, another robot, even bigger than the one before came, and it seemed to be trying to get... me. I screamed as it got me, struggling to get out of the robots hold. Strange flashbacks of a fire flashed through my eyes, and I became even more frightened. The robot squeezed harder, trying to stop me from fighting back. I screamed in pain, right before blacking out. 

When I came to, I came to a certain blue hedgehog was hovering over me. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked. I remember I laughed then too, it was a weak laugh, but a laugh nonetheless. Then I leaned forward and gave him a hug, starting to cry.

"Ssh, it's okay. You're safe now." He said. And that was when my crush for him bloomed.

*End of Flashback*

"Why would I cry?" I said quietly, looking at the floor. Sonic leaned in and hugged me and before I knew it, tears started flowing down my cheeks. I laughed again.

"H-huh? W-Why am I crying?" I say as I start wiping away tears. "I-I have no reason to be crying..." I whisper.

"Ssh, it's okay. You're safe now." He says patting my back. And, once again, I laughed. "I remember you said that back then too," I said quietly. 

"I'll make sure of it. We all will. We'll protect you guys." 

Finally, I stop trying to wipe away my tears, and say: "you don't know how long I've waited to hear someone say that..." 

I mentally scoffed. 'I guess my crush on him isn't gone after all.' I thought as I started blushing at the close proximity. 'Thank you, Sonic The Hedgehog...'

Shadow's P.O.V

I watched as the Rose sisters cried, letting out all of their fears and sadness that they have concealed over the years. It really was quite sad. 'Oh god, how I want to comfort Crystal.' I thought, blushing at the thought while watching the girls comfort her instead. 'If only...' I thought.

So? How'd you guys like it? I'm so so so sorry I haven't updated in months! It's just, I've been having to deal with a lot of drama going on between my friends, I've had to maintain my grades, suffer through ACT Aspire testing, and deal with family problems, so I haven't really gotten the chance to update.

Again, so sorry (but hey, at least it's almost summer! I'll have a lot more time to work on my stories, and if I'm not, just remind me that I have to stop being lazy and update).

Also, try listening to "If Only" by Dove Cameron while reading his. I feel as if it makes this more dramatic.
