Bunny's P.O.V

"Hey, ladybug!" Jack calls out as North, Sandy, Tooth, Violet and I gather to sit upon the hill under the tree where the Spring spirit covered me in petals, the Winter spirit suspended in mid air a little bit away. At his call, Violet whips around, eyes instantly glaring as they latch onto the boy that's closest to her age, her face going so red it's about the same colour as the very hair that flares out around her. He had ripped her instantly out of a deep conversation she'd been having with Sandy, the girl somehow managing to understand the mans signings much easier than we can. "I'm a butterfly!" She calls out in anger, instantly shooting off into the air, hands in fists and straight by her sides, wings fluttering madly as Jack's eyes widen, soaring away as fast as possible.

I watch them with a chuckle, but a touch of sadness in my eyes while they follow the red headed butterfly. Okay, I'll come clean, in the months that Violet has been staying here, I have developed feelings for her, but I know they'll never be reciprocated. How can a delicate little butterfly ever love a bunny such as myself? Even if I am the Easter Bunny. She's much more suited to someone like Jack - as much as it pains me to admit it - he's closer to her age, he has more free time to spend with her and he finds it much easier to unwind and have fun, whereas I am always worrying about Easter.

I sigh, looking down at the egg decorated in her daisy petals in my paw, my ears flopping back before my attention is drawn to the golden light next to me. I look up to see Sandy with a question mark floating above his head - North and Tooth too busy talking to notice. "It's nothin', mate." I say with a sheepish smile, trying to brush it off but he looks unconvinced. The little guy looks to my paws and the little egg held within them, noticing the flower petals on the item and on the ground, a yell from Violet as she races by, still chasing Jack, drawing his attention to her.

Sandy breaks out in a smile as he turns to me in excitement, symbols flashing to life above his head at a rapid pace. "Wow! Sandy, slow down!" I say, trying to calm him as he realises his mistake he forms another symbol above his head. I look up to see a golden butterfly made out of sand which he points to, still smiling widely, making me look over to the Spring spirit. "Violet?" I ask as he nods rapidly, forming another symbol while pointing to her and then me, then to the golden heart that he forms, my eyes widening.

"Wow, mate! No! I'm just friends with the Sheila." I say, hurriedly shaking my paws on front of me as he folds his arms, looking at me with a raised eyebrow. "Naw mate..." I say, still shaking my head as he holds the look, wanting the truth. "Sigh, a'right, a'right." I give in, looking to the side with my ears hanging limp beside me. "I like her. But it's not like she'd ever like me back." I say sadly, looking up to her as Sandy tries to gain my attention again frantically.

"AHH!" A scream rips my attention away from the seemingly excited sandman. Jack crashes to the ground of my Warren, sitting up on his hands to allow us to see his head covered in pretty pink flowers that are now in his snow white hair. "Ahahaha! Zat is good von, Violet!" North exclaims, holding his belly as he laughs heartily, the girl landing smugly by the winter spirit. "Hm, teach you to call me a ladybug." She said with a smirk, walking away with a cheeky flutter of her wings in his face, her arms folded while the grass slips between her toes.

"Nice one, Sheila." I say with a smirk, chuckling as she walks over. "Thanks." She said, rather proudly before something catches her eye. "What's this?" She asks curiously, peeking at the egg I still hold in my large paw. "Oh, I used some of the daisy petals to decorate the egg." I say, holding it up as her eyes spark to life, a broad smile lighting up her face. "That's amazing!" She said, gazing at it as I blush deeply, thankfully my fur hiding that fact. However, I do see Sandy smirking knowingly at me.
