Sebastian's P.O.V

It has been a month since dear Chūkan Middle came to join us at the Phantomhive manor and she has been most helpful. But also very distracting. You see, once the master found out that it is uncomfortable for her to hide her feline features - which he is not allergic to due to the fact that it's human hair that coats them, not cats - he said it is most acceptable for her to have them out within the manors walls. But of course, I caught the sly smirk he sent my way as she left.

But really, how could anyone focus in this situation! Such soft ears and elegantly swishing tail, my! even being half angle she is utterly infatuating. How irritable for her. She dusts a high shelf in the library as I stand silently by the door, the shadows hiding me easily in the darkness of the night. Her feet on the ladders, the feather duster in hand she swishes it over the books, her tail doing much the same behind her. "Do you need something, Crow?" She asks, right ear slightly turned towards me as her green eyes swing my way. I chuckle, my crimson red eyes shinning through the shadows as they latch onto her.

"Why do you ask, Cat?" I reply, taking a step into the moonlight that filters in though the window. "Because if not I request that you do something useful with your time, rather than standing there staring at me." She said, finishing with the shelf before grabbing the sides of the ladders where she also plants her feet, sliding down them to land effortlessly on the ground, as skilful as a cat. "Now if you don't mind." She adds, heading over to me. "I shall be retiring for the evening." She said, looking up at me with a cold stare, before moving past to slip out of the door, tail the last to disappear before it clicks shut behind her.

Not more than ten minutes later do I head for my own room down in the servants quarters, but pause with a hand on my door, turning back around. Directly across from my room, is the door leading into Chūkan's room. My eyes flash their demonic fuchsia as I move across the hall in two long strides, gloved hand twisting the doorknob to open it. She stands there by her bed, back to me, brushing her long brown hair which reveals the markings on the back of her neck that corresponds exactly to the masters medallion, down to the very last detail.

"Something you want, Crow?" She asks, putting her clothes away without looking at me. "Yes actually, why is it that you refuse to call me anything but "Crow"?" I query, closing her door but remain standing by it while she moves around in her nightdress. "You are a Crow demon, are you not?" She asks, green eyes moving to me while her face remains scarce of emotion. "Why of course." I reply as she nods, heading back over to the bed to shift the sheets. "Then I see no reason not to call you Crow, and why should I not when you address me as "Cat"?" She said as I smirk, taking a step closer, her hands on her hips.

"Would you prefer I called you Kitty?" I ask as her eyes widen, pupils becoming thin slits before her orbs shrink down so she glares out harshly, ears flat out in a horizontal line. "Never!" She hisses, sounding quite like a cat as her breath pushes forth past her slightly sharper than human teeth, teeth as I let loose a deep chuckle that resides in my throat. "What's wrong?" I ask taking another large step forward to stop right in front of her, forcing her to look up at me. "Remind you of something?" I add, bringing up a gloved hand which she catches sharply by the wrist. As she glares, my smirk remind firm, fingers brushing against her soft ears, making her eyes widen once more while her pupils expand.

I chuckle once more as her grip on my arm loosens, allowing me to easily scratch behind her ear as she tries oh so desperately to keep her eyes open to no avail. Her hand drops down once more as her lids slide closed, a purring sound vibrating in her throat to emanate to the surroundings. "Good kitty." I whisper in her ear, my hot breath brushing past the small hairs that decorate the feline features, causing a shiver to travel down her spin.

"Looks like the crow has the upper hand to the cat." I say as she looks up, just is time to see me bending down to her height, my lips pressing against hers. She's shocked, and tries to take a step back only to hit the bed, my hands going to her waist to stop her decent and keep the kiss going. She relaxes, arms moving up to wind around my neck, fingers grasping at my raven hair. In this tale, the bird gets the cat.
