Sakura, Konoha's Strongest Ninja

Chapter 7

I sighed and began my paperwork. Today was the day Konoha 11 was to arrive in Suna. The ANBU had already arrived 3 days ago and were guarding the gates. I had told Garaa to sent me something to let me know when Konoha 11 had arrived. I was getting impatient and began to walk around my office. I didn't care about the paperwork anymore, I just had to know if my friends made it alive. That was all that mattered to me. I sent out three clones of myself to Suna and waited for a reply. That was going to take a while, even though my clones teleported. They had to go through the security and speak with the Kazekage. I started to work on my paperwork again.

In the end, I finished the paperwork and was looking out the window. I was keeping an eye out for any sign of a messenger bird. Luckily, a few minutes later a messenger hawk from Suna landed on the window frame. I quickly got out of my chair and grabbed the message on it's back. I opened it and read:

Dear Hokage,

Your ninjas have arrived safely and are a great help to security. Your additional clones are helpful as well. The Akatsuki have not made a move on the village, but we suspect that they will soon attack. Put your ANBU on guard and prepare. If you need any help, we will gladly send help anytime. We wish you luck.

I smiled and fell back into my chair. I was so happy. I was tempted to leave a clone in the office and go to Suna in person. That's just what I did. I left a clone that would stay until I got back, a note to my advisors, and then went to change into my ANBU uniform. I did my hair in a french braid and tied my Hokage hat on my waist. I packed my katana and the rest of my weapons. I also packed my cloak with the words 'Sixth Hokage' etched on the back. When I was ready, I teleported to the front gates of Suna. There were rows of ninjas on guard. The person in charge walked up to me and said "State your purpose." I looked at him and replied "I am the Sixth Hokage and I am here to see the Kazekage." I then showed him my official Hokage hat and cloak. He inspected them closely, then bowed. He let me in and said "Enjoy your stay, Hokage-sama." I nodded and made my way to the Kazekage's building. On the way there, the villagers bowed to me and thanked me as well. I walked into the building and made my way to the office. When I found it, I knocked and waited for the words 'Come in'. When I received the okay, I went in and saw Konoha 11 talking to Garaa. Garaa looked at me, then nodded. I went up to his desk and bowed on one knee saying "Kazekage. I'm sorry to intrude, but we need to discuss some important matters." Then Konoha 11 all looked at me. Naruto was the first to act and exclaimed "EHHHHH! WHAT IS A LEAF VILLAGE ANBU DOING HERE?!" I got up and went to stand behind Garaa. I faced them and took of my mask. I smiled and said "You don't recognize your own Hokage? What a shame. Oh well, it can't be helped."  Naruto looked at me in disbelief as Neji stepped forward and asked "If you're here, then whose watching over the village?" I turned to his direction and said "My clone and my advisors." I turned back to Garaa and added "I'm here to help."

Konoha 11 all looked at me in shock and said in unison "Are you crazy?!" But I just smiled and said "Yep." Then I turned back to Garaa and said "So is there anything I can do?" He took out a stack of files and handed them to me. He said "We need someone too take over head medic for a while, or until we get a new one. Can you manage?" I looked at him and said "Are you kidding? You're looking at the person who revived over a million people in one go. Of course I can!" I bowed and left the room, leaving a speechless crowd of ninjas and the Kazekage. I made my way to the hospital to start healing and saving peoples lives. Before I became Hokage, I was always sent to different villages to assist the hospital or help on dangerous missions that require backup, trained medics, and a couple of months to complete the full mission. When I arrived, I went to the front desk and told them that I was sent by the Kazekage to fill in for the Head Medic. The nurse at the front desk nodded and called for a nurse to get me dressed and to show me my temporary office. She handed me a blue nurse scrub and a white doctors coat that had the words 'Head Medic' etched in the front. I thanked her and went inside a bathroom to change. I also tied my Hokage hat on my waist. I was then lead to my temporary office, were I found a few stacks of files on the desk. I sat down and started to look over the files one by one. A lot of the patients needed surgery and a few needed to stay at the hospital for a couple of days. I called all available nurses and doctors. When they all arrived, I handed them each separate cases and told them that I wrote what they needed inside. In the end, I have more than 10,100 patients I had to take care of, most requiring surgery. I grabbed some files and began to work. I managed to complete all the surgeries single handed and was on my way to treat a patient who had a very deep cut.

I ended up finishing all 10,100 patients in 2 days, total. Only 15 more were checked in on the second day. So majority of the day, I was spinning around in my chair and getting update on the Hidden Leaf from my clone. The village economic was improving and the population was the same. Ever since I revived the people, the population had sky-rocketed above the charts. My clone had also said that Itachi had been a big help to the ANBU. I was considering making Itachi Head ANBU, since I was Hokage. I can still be ANBU commander, but I'll be on leave most of the time. Konoha 11 were all sent on missions. I asked my clone to sent Kakashi, Gai, Asuma, and Kureni to Suna for extra support. Just in case. They arrived 3 days later. I was called to the Kazekage's office to greet them upon their arrival.

They stared at me and said "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Konoha?" I looked at them and explained "That is a clone. The real me is here helping out at the hospital. There are other clones stationed around the village for extra protection. My clone is naming Itachi the Head ANBU, right about .......... now." I finished with a huge smile on my face. "Once you get to know him, he's not as bad as you think he is." I added. I motioned them to follow me as I turned to the door. I gave them a tour of the village and assigned them to keep an eye on Konoha 11, once they came back on their mission. I left a clone in my temporary office and went to get something to eat. On my way to the nearest food shop, Naruto and Neji rushed past me with Sasuke in between them. Sasuke was all bloody and by the looks of it, unconscious. I ran to them as fast as I could and took Sasuke. I rushed to the hospital and went to the nearest open hospital room. I placed Sasuke on the bed and shouted for nurses to get medication, an IV, and to prep a surgery room just in case. I rolled up my sleeves and began to work my magic. He was loosing so much blood. I learned that his blood type is AB. Mine was O. I called to a nurse to order AB blood and to get it ASAP. I first gave him medication to not feel any pain as I treat his wounds. I also gave him an oxygen mask to help him breathe.  By the looks of it, he fought with a high rank ninja, or was ambushed. The blood arrived a few minutes later. I immediately grabbed it and stuck a needle into his arm. I connected the needle to a tube connected to the blood packet. His blood pressure started to improve the second the blood entered his body. I checked him into the ICU and assigned myself to look after him. He was going to stay there for a couple of weeks. The rest of Konoha 11 arrived after I checked him in. I allowed them to visit for a couple of minutes, then lead them out into the waiting room. They had dome explaining to do.
