Chapter 9

The girls and I finally caught up during our limited time together, even though I still don't trust them like I used too. Inner kept on nagging me about how cute the boys are and that it is time that I get a boyfriend, but I keep on shutting her out. I left early to tell the boys to get ready and to send a letter to my advisor saying that we would arrive at the village in a few days time. The rest of the night went by as quick as it came and before I knew it, we were on the road again. Inner started a conversation with me again, but half way through, we were attacked by rogue ninjas. We fought to the point were Naruto had called for the Nine Tail's help. 'Akemi, it's your time to shine.' I thought. She smirked and said "About time." I immediately engulfed in sky blue chakra. My teeth getting sharper and my nails forming pointed tips. I got onto all fours as 5 tails appeared. "Let's do this." Akemi said, taking control over my body. "With pleasure." I said cracking an evil grin. I roared as I ran across a tree branch and jumped on the back of one of the enemies. As the fight continued, Akemi gained more control, but I could still control her as well. When the fight was over, Akemi turned my body to face my comrades and was about to attack, until I regained full control over my body and turned back to myself. "Well, it was fun while it lasted, lets do it again." Akemi said. 'Our deal was that I let you take over in battles that I can't win over.' I replied. After that, I cut off my conversation with her.

"We better get going." I said turning away from the group and jumping onto a tree branch. The closer we got to the village, the more Akemi bothered me. "Nee, Sakura, How 'bout you let me take over for a bit, you look tired." 'No' I said. For the rest of the way to the village, Akemi kept on bothering me, but I keep on refusing to listening to her. She was really starting to get annoying. Oh, where did I hear that word before? Oh right, Sasuke called me that. I mentally cursed, as I vowed not to think about him. "Someone has a crush." Akemi said as she smiled. 'Shut up.' I replied, really pissed off. She innocently smiled in her mindset and finally went to sleep. 'Finally.' I thought with a smile on my face. "I heard that." She said in an annoyed tone. Then I cut off the conversation as we finally reached the gates. My four advisors were waiting for us at the front gates with wide smiles etched on their faces. "Welcome back, Hokage-sama," they said in unison while bowing. "No need to stand on guard." I said as I stopped in front of them. Then Kushina and Mikoto straightened up and ran to hug me. "Saku-chan!!! You're home!!!" they exclaimed as they jumped up and down with me in their arms. Then I hear someone clear their throat and say "Ya know, we're here too." The two mothers let go of me and looked back saying, "You don't matter right now." I chuckled as I turned and saw Naruto and Sasuke's faces. It looked like they were betrayed, majorly. "I need to get some work done." I said as I got into a serious mode.

Sorry for the majorly late update, but I just started 8th grade and am in the process of choosing a high school. Just a heads up, the updates will be shorter then the previous chapter due to shortened time. Again, I am sorry about the late updates. Hope you like this update.
