Sakura, Konoha's Strongest Ninja

Chapter 6

I woke up the next day and put on my mother's clothes and strapped my father's katana to my back. I headed to my office and began to assign missions to ninjas of all ranks, even went to the academy for fun. I was greeted by many bows and hugs. Iruka even allowed me to teach the students a bit. I hung out with Yuki for a bit before going back to the office. I had let my advisors take the day off, so I played around in the office. Danced around a little, sang a little song, made paper planes and threw them around the room, and finally took a nap. That all lasted 3 full hours and boy was I bored. Now I know why Lady Tsunade always took breaks. I sighed and prayed for someone, anyone, to come through the door. I was desperate. I decided to leave a clone at the desk, while I went to the training grounds to get used too my father's weapon.

I only put a little bit of chakra in the handle, and a bunch of lightning came out of the blade. I then stabbed a tree, which blew up. I was very impressed. I trained for more than 5 hours, and got more than 20 updates from my clone. Nobody came to the office ever since I went to train. I sighed and went to the hospital to take my shift. I walked into my office, and found nothing on my desk. I assume that someone had already taken care of it. I was about to go home, until a group of medics rushed into the hospital with a woman in very bad shape. I ran towards the room they entered and began to give orders to every nurse available. "Get an IV in here! ASAP!" I exclaimed. I rolled up my sleeves and began to work.

I sat down on a chair, exhausted from work at the hospital. I went home and changed for dinner with .............Konoha 11 and their parents. Their parents arranged it with me and I could not say no. The restaurant they arranged for us to meet was a very expensive one so I decided to bring my appearance up a bit with make up. I put a bit of eye shadow, blush, lip gloss, and a few rime stones for fun. I looked in the mirror and said "Hn, not bad." I was wearing a red dress that trailed behind me as I walked and matching high heels. I tied my Kage cap on my waist and let my long hair rest on my dress. I also brought a ruby red wallet with me. I looked at the clock and walked out the door. I was greeted with looks of awe and many people bowing with respect. I was a bit early so I went to the dango shop and bought some for desert. Hey, a girls got to have her dango. Am I right?

I walked to the restaurant and went to the table reserved for 34 people. I saw Teams 8, Gai, and 10. I didn't see Team 7 and their parents yet. Tenten and Neji went up to me and thanked me for bringing  their parents back to them. I nodded in reply and sat at the chair labeled "Sixth Hokage" All the waiters came to me and greeted me with flowers. A few minutes later, Team 7 had arrived. Kushina and Mikoto ran to me and squealed with delight saying "So pretty!!!!!" The men hung back and walked slowly. Sasuke, Naruto, and Sai were whispering to each other. Thanks to the sensitive hearing I had inherited I heard every single word. They said:

"I can't believe they made us come here. I mean, it's just dinner."

"Hn"

"I think this place is ......... ugly."

I got up and greeted the parents, then sat down again. Konoha 11, excluding Neji and Tenten, did not know I was there. I looked at the parents and asked "Why did you summon me here? Is there something wrong? Why did you have me dress up?" They looked at me and said "We want you guys to become friends again. We don't know what happened between you guys, but that was in the past." I looked at my former friends and cleared my throat, making their heads turn in my direction. The boys stared at me, while the girls had started to 'fan girl'

In the end, I made it through the meeting. I headed home and went straight to bed. I didn't bother to change or take my make up off. In the morning, I didn't change, so I went straight to the Hokage building. The rest of the day was boring, boring, and boring. I'll add an extra boring in there somewhere. I actually got 9 hours of sleep without any interruptions. That was surprising. When I woke up, I found a messenger hawk from Suna on my window sill. I opened the note and immediately called Konoha 11 to my office. I was going to send them to Suna on a B-rank mission. The Akatsuki was on the move again. They already attacked Suna once, and capture the 1 tails in the process. I was sent there by Lady Tsunade to heal Kankuro, Kazekage's older brother.

Konoha 11 burst in the room and I began to explain the mission. "You're to go to Suna and give the assistance that is needed. Depart in 30 minutes. Be careful. Dismissed." I said while writing a reply to Garra. I sent the letter and sighed. 'I hope you are alright, Garra.' I thought to myself as I looked out the window. Garra was like a brother I never had. We grew close ever since the Chunnin exams took place when we were still gennin. Now we are both Kages of our own villages. I secretly sent some ANBU to Suna to give extra protection. I still felt worried for some reason. I definitely did not like Sasuke, or do I? My mind has been driving me crazy!
