I flapped my translucent wings slowly. It only can be seen by the eyes of a Lightian. I covered my face with a hood and wore a cloak over myself.

School.

No one knew of my real identity. I am Elieen Starlight, the princess of Lightia. I don't like acting all lady-like or anything. But it is not my fault I was born a part of the royal Lightian family. I told no one who I really was except for.....

"ELIEEN!!" Melany Tamamono ran towards me in enthusiasm. It was the start of a new term. Not that it will be any different.

We hurried to class. Mr Sin was waiting impatiently for everyone to settle down. An unfamiliar face was spotted at the front of the classroom. A new student.

"Class, we have a new friend joining us and his name is Ryan Kashi."

Another popular type I guessed. I knew, for when he smiled, all the girls in our class squealed.

Human girls. Insane.

They only know how to gossip. Talk about boys, boys and boys.

Ryan had made a very good first impression. He walked down the row of desks and every time he passed by a girl, a tiny squeal could be heard. Ridiculous. He reached to an empty table at the back of the classroom and sat down. Not that there was any problem with that but....that seat was next to mine.

"Out of all people he has to sit next to that cursed, hooded freak.''

" Is she really a human? "

" Poor Ryan..."

Yup, they got that right. I am no human. Their suspects are right. Just that they don't take it too seriously. Ryan was looking at me curiously. He had no idea if he was looking at a girl or a boy.

Thank goodness that Melany was sitting next to me on the left. And it got worst. Guess who had to join tables with the new rookie? Me. I had to share my textbooks with him and everything. He seemed grateful. But I felt that everyone had their eyes on the two of us.

It was really weird...my necklace - Mahonshiro, kept glowing when I got close to Ryan.

It only reacts when I am close to Mahonkuro...the second necklace I have been looking for. Does Ryan have it..? No, it cannot be...

Long time ago, when I was still young, I met a boy who was the same age as me. His parents, who were my father's good friends, allowed us to stay with them for a while since we were unfamiliar with our surroundings on earth. We stayed for two days and then moved to another place. Within those two days, the two of us became friends....but I had forgotten to ask for his name...

But the boy was really nice to me and always offered to show me around. I allowed him to see my Lightia form too.

You would be wondering what I mean. I am always in my human form on earth unless I change back. Then, I remembered!! I did not loose the necklace before I came to earth, but I must have left it behind before moving away!

HE WAS LOOKING AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How humiliating....embarrassing.....

"So, you are a girl...and a human! You were starting to scare me! You don't look as bad.as they say.." Ryan smiled.

He smile, I frown.
