Hidden Light: Ryan's crush

     School again...I wore my cloak again and put on my hood. My mother sent me to school and here I was again. Everybody kept their distance from me as usual. The first person that greeted me was, as per normal, Melany.

       When we went to our classroom, Ryan was already there, surrounded by many girls and boys. I heard them asking him if he was dating anybody, or already like someone...Gosh they should just leave the poor boy alone. Ryan looked up and saw me. He smiled and said," Morning! " I was a bit taken aback. Melany just hopped towards the crowd and shook Ryan's hand, greeting," Morning, sir! " She is always joking around. Everyone backed away when I walked towards Ryan. I managed to mutter the words out, "G-good morning.." Ryan seemed extremely happy when he heard what I said. I don't know why but i'll let that pass.

      All of a sudden, I sensed a dark presence. I looked out of the classroom and along the corridors. All I saw was a girl with dark curls who was chatting on her phone. But why do I sense it from...her?

     Who knows but I don't really care. I went back into the classroom and plopped down onto my seat.

      I heard Ryan telling the mini crowd about him seeing a girl the previous day in a park. He told them that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. And I think that is me. I was flattered. But then I didn't expect him to take those words back. He said that he met a girl last time that looked even more beautiful and that he wished to meet her again. He started describing her sky blue eyes and light blue hair and told them that they were of natural colour and she was supernatural. No one believed that of course but they started asking him if he had a crush on this particular girl. He blushed and admitted it. They were all shocked. Their idol was in love! With a girl that they thought was not real.

       They all started telling him that she was already gone and he should go and love someone else. To their shock, he retorted," I like her! I know that I will eventually meet again some day! " I was shocked too. Who was this girl?

      Melany giggled and whispered into my ear," I don't think he gets angry that often but he is surely angry about what they said." I nodded my head slowly. Yeah..

      During lunch break, Melany dragged me along with her and approached Ryan. I guessed she wanted to interview him about his crush. What a nosy girl..sigh..

      Ryan looked at Melany, than at me and than at Melany again. " Erm..ok..." He agreed into letting my crazy friend interview him on his crush that almost the whole school knows about. How many hearts did he break?

" Mr.Kashi, is this girl, whom you met long ago, real? "

Melany was ready to pen down his respond.

" Yes, of course."

" How did you two meet?"

" Her mother introduced her to me. She is not a human. I saw her true form before..."

At that point, Melany turned to look at me. Not..a..human?

" You say true form...what do you mean? "

" She has translucent wings that she allowed me to see and her hair was light blue and her eyes were sky blue. Her human form was almond brown eyes and straight black hair."

Melany looked at me again. I remembered him saying that my eyes were sky blue in the park the other time but at that time, I was in my human form! How did he-

"Do you have anything to prove that she exists...?"

He searched in his pocket for an object. My necklace started to glow again. He took out a Mahonkuro.
