Hidden Light: The Darkians appear

     I swiped the necklace out of Ryan's hands. "Yes. I am glad we meet again. But...I really need this. Thank you...for falling for me...I don't know! It is weird! No one ever liked me before." I started to blush. Argh! Not now! I need to concentrate! What was that darkian doing in the school?! I should have known-they wanted the lightians EXTINCT. They didn't like the fact that ROYAL lightians were still alive.

        Ryan looked at me. He lunged himself at me and hugged me tightly. "I FINALLY FOUND YOU!!! IT REALLY IS YOU!!!! YOU CAN HAVE THE NECKLACE BACK, I DON'T CARE!!" Melany pushed Ryan away," Watch it, pretty boy. "

        My face was flushed. I wore both necklaces on. I had enough light energy power for now. I smiled at Ryan. The thought of him saying I was beautiful made me go red in the face again. Ryan blushed too and then he dashed off, feeling embarrassed. Melany shouted after him," You better keep your mouth shut about this!! Or your crush wouldn't like you anymore!!" I punched her shoulder lightly and told her about the darkians. " They finally found me after all these years. I guessed they searched the whole earth.."

       Melany's eyes widened in fear. I asked her what was the problem. " What if...your mother..." I didn't have to let her finish to know. My mother was in danger. By the look of that girl's face that was standing outside the music room, I knew that they had managed to kidnap their target successfully. I turned back into my human form and wore on my cloak and covered my face with the hood again. The two Mahons were in my possession now.

       Melany and I skipped school and rushed back home. I used my light energy to break the door lock, breaking into my own house. The house was quiet and empty. My mother should be in because she does not go to work until later in the day. Melany and I took a step in with caution. We didn't have to search the house any further. The table was turned and many breakable objects were shattered. I knew that Mom was gone and tooken away. A note was found in my bedroom:

      Dear Princess Starlight,

      You should know by now that your mother is being held hostage in Darkia. We won't kill your mother just yet. We need you as well. If she is not enough to persuade you, I can start taking your friends, one by one. And they will try finding out who is the cause of all this. If you don't turn yourself in in 25 days, you'll regret it. Say bye to your loved ones.

     My head was spinning. They would have killed my mother if they didn't want Lightia to continue life. They wanted us for a reason. They were not planning on killing my mother and me at all. They wanted even MORE power. I looked up into the sky," DARKIA!! YOU HAVE SUCH A HORRIBLE KING AND QUEEN! GIVE MY MOTHER BACK! RELEASE HER!!!"

Tears of anger rolled down my cheeks. I am never going to give in. I WILL avenge my father's death and free my mother.
