the post master found himself in a strikingly similar situation
when frisked through, for the letter from his wife,
who was ill and battling for her life.
a dull pink letter stood out,
and he grabbed it letting out a happy shout.
but seeing to whom the letter was directed to,
he felt shame and empathy for louis too.
'to louis' was what it read,
on the envelope which was tear-stained.
