Let me know what you think of Colton ♡

There was a dripping sound that brought me to the present.
The steady drop and pinging echo as it splashed into the puddle on the ground.
It brought me to the realization that i was really thirsty, in the need of cool water to coat the dryness in my throat and soothe the ache.
Swallowing as much of the non existent saliva i can to try and get the pain to go away, i try to move, but stop. The second burning sensation doesnt come from my throat but from my wrists.

What the?

The fraying rope is wrapped around my wrists that is tied to the arms of an industrial chair, reducing any movement.

Its cold.
I feel my teeth chattering uncontrollably, as the bones in my mouth clatter together endlessly it echos into the darkness surrounding me bouncing off of the walls that cage me like a sonar beam.

I whip my head back and forth trying to catch anything that i might have missed in the darkness. Anything that can aid me in my escape.

How the hell did i even get here?
Last i remember i was running to get help for Elle and i.
I was being chased an-

Oh God.. Elle..

How could i have been so stupid. Why did i even leave her. Now we're seperated how do i even know if shes alive?

A sob escapes my throat. The first sound in what i imagine in hours.
The itchyness in my throat doubles and i have no power left in me as my shoulders shake and the loud cries travel in the abyss.
Whats going to happen to me? To Elle? Where is Elle?

Stop. Stop crying you useless child.
Elle is gone.

Sniffling i release a shaky breath and narrow my eyes into the dark.
Squaring my shoulders i bring forth all of the courage i have left, aswell as my stupidity for what im about to do and.. scream.

I scream so loud i feel my lungs hum in dissatisfaction, and when that scream is all wheezed out and dead i drag all the air capable to fit into my lungs and do it again like a banshee calling out to the undead.

Then i stop.
All is quiet. No other sound is omitted other than the steady drips in the dark.

Colton

He trecked through the pine trees up on the mountain side following the imprints of the deers hoofs.

Swiping the air trying to get the goddamn mosquitoes out of his face, he unties the camo bandana off of his forehead and dips it in the small stream that hes been walking alongside for a while. Taking the bandana out of the water and squeezing out the droplets he ties it loosely around his neck and revels in the biting cold that instantly grips him in a frosty hug.
He's been following the defenceless foal for three full days with butt fuck luck and its been making him go slowly into a pit of insane anger. With no sign of its mother, the little pain in the arse wouldn't stop skitting around terrified of the faintest sound or bird flying off of a tree. Frankly it was surprising that the bigger predators haven't gotten to it yet.
The damn animal was starting to drive him crazy, he just wanted to get it over and done with without having to waste anymore time.
Pacing himself quietly through the fallen pine leaves that litter the ground, he crouches having spotted the little doe eyed bambi grazing in the clearing with its ears twitching.
The innocence of the little foal reminds him of the woman that he met this morning, her large forest green eyes gazing up at him with her lucious lips parted and a cute blush covering her button nose and soft cheeks that he was for certain would be a soft creamy color .
He shakes himself to, he can't get distracted while on the hunt.
