"Big Brother" -Kanye West
Avery sat on the corner of Morris Black leaning on his car. He sported a black Polo shirt with a purple horse on it with black Cargo pants and all black Polo boots. Avery pulled his fitted to the front to cover his eyes. He was official going to be a member of Morris Black today if he could commit a perfect crime. Avery's heart was racing and his blood pressure had risen.
“Yo, you ready to do this breh?” Avery's brother, Yayo, yelled from the car.
“Yeah, let's do this.” Avery hopped in his brother’s car and took off to their destination. They hopped out of Yayo's truck and headed inside the big house that rested on the good part of Morris Black. Avery pulled down his fitted even more as he walked to the back door of the house. Yayo kicked in the door and Avery followed behind.
Avery's mind was racing he done crimes before but nothing was compared to this. “Ain’t anybody here breh, let's shake this spot.”
“Stop acting like a pussy and search this spot nigga!” Yayo pulled out his gun.
Avery went upstairs with his gun drawn. He put his ear up to one of the bedroom doors and listened to someone conversation.
“Yeah I like it too, but the purple dress is much better.” He heard Pinky saying.
“Yeah you right, but this one goes perfect with your skin tone with ya white ass.” The unknown voice said. He couldn't make out the male voice.
“Yayo let's go breh! Ain't shit here!” Avery called out to his brother.
Yayo put his gun up to Avery's chin. “Shut the fuck up yo and grow some fucking balls pussy!”
Yayo lowered his voice when he heard the front door open. He and Avery went to hide in the bathroom. Avery looked out the window to see how far he was going to jump. But little did he know, Yayo wasn't going to let him leave this house without him killing someone. Yayo pulled Avery towards him.
“I want you to lay him down right now.” Yayo opened the bathroom door. “GO!” He pushed Avery out the door. Avery stood there shocked like a deer caught in the headlights. He was frozen and his heart was pumping blood faster and faster. He stood face to face with an old man who looked to be in his 60s.
Avery pointed his gun at the old man. The old man held his hands up silently praying for his dear life. Avery closed his eyes and pulled his trigger.
BOOM! BOOM! Avery fired two shots in the old man’s chest then took off leaving Yayo behind.
“What the fuck was that?” Riley ran out if his room only to see his grandfather shot twice in his chest. He broke down crying while Pinky stood there shock not knowing what to do. Tears poured down her cheeks and fear took over her heart. She wondered who could have been so heartless and kill someone so innocent.
“I need police here on 32110 Morris Black! My grandfather has just been shot!” Pinky panicked into her phone. “Oh my God! Oh my God!”
Pinky doubled over and threw up at the sight of the lifeless body. She had heard about many murders that happened in Morris Black, but never had an up close and personal. Pinky rubbed Riley's wide shoulders and died inside at the sight of him hurting and crying.
“Go home Horizon, I don't want you seeing this.” Riley said just above a whisper. Pinky shook her head no. She couldn't leave him here all alone. Yeah she was scared but she just couldn't leave her friend.
The police and paramedics finally rushed into the house and guided Riley and Pinky in the backseat of the police car. They had been crying for different reasons the whole way to the police station. Riley was crying about the sight of his grandfather’s lifeless body and Pinky shed her tears because she was down right scared.
Avery sat in the chair of the local Tattoo artist’s seat with his hand on the stool. He was getting MB on his hand classifying that he was the newest member of Morris Black. He looked at his big brother wondering was all that worth becoming a member of Morris Black. Well he soon will find out.
Avery looked down at his vibrating phone and answered. “Wassup ma?”
“Where are you?” Pinky spoke to his line.
“Out. Why? Wassup?”
“Can you pick me up from downtown?” She sniffed.
“Downtown where?”
“Police station.”
The line went dead. Avery picked up his jacket and left put the door. He asked questions but he already knew what was up.
Pinky sat on the stairs freezing from the November breeze. She will rather freeze to death than sit inside the station. Pinky knew she looked crazy in the oversized white T-shirt, blue polka dot shorts, and black flip flops. People may have thought she was homeless at first glance. She was happy when she seen Avery pull up. Pinky slipped down the stairs trying to get to Avery's car.
“God, you have punished me enough and I am ready to live with you, kill me right fucking now!” Pinky started crying.
Avery shook his head at her. He didn't know rather to laugh or feel sorry for her so he did both. He got of his car to help her up. Not only did she look a mess now, but she had mud all over her.
“What did I do Avery? I stopped laughing at homeless people months ago that's old news.” Avery put Pinky in the passenger side.
Pinky went on and on about her sad, horrible day. Avery grew tired of her talking and handed her his flask of Patron. Pinky took a shot a scrunched her face up. Once the first shot was out of the way, she took them back to back.
By the time Avery reached his house, Pinky was down to her last shot and passed drunk a long time ago. Avery failed at helping Pinky walk, he gave up and just carried her into his house.
“Get em drunk and fuck em is what Avery is doing!” His brother Yayo stumbled towards him. “Aye I got next breh.”
Avery put his gun up to Yayo's head. “This here is wifey, you ain't got next, present, past, or future so get ya drunken ass on.”
“You done grew balls now that you got that MB on ya hand.”
“Fuck you breh!” Avery hit him upside his head with his gun and Yayo passed out.
“DAMNNNNN! Yo Avery you ain't have to do that shit there!” His other brother, DJ took the gun from him.
“Y'all drunk asses just stay away from me and her.” Avery took Pinky upstairs and locked his door.
Avery took off of Pinky's clothes and stared at her beautiful shaped body. It took all his might not to touch on her but he badly wanted to. He pulled up a chair beside her and stared at her before dosing off himself.
“Pinky, this is my big brother, Yayo.” Avery looked up from his breakfast.
“Nice to meet you ma, you must be something real special. Having this nigga hit niggas with guns and shit.” Yayo gave Avery a cold stare.
Pinky didn't know what was going on, she didn't know where she was, and she damn sure wasn't in the mood to meet a big black dude named Yayo. “Take me home Avery.”
“Come on ma.” Avery grabbed his car keys and headed out the door. He tried to spark up a conversation with Pinky but it wasn't working. Avery pulled into her driveway and turned off his engine.
“You didn't have to do that, I'm out.” Pinky headed towards her door.
“Aye ma!” Avery ran behind her. Pinky stopped in front of her door. She was not in the mood and thoughts of him and the maid crossed her mind.
“What?”
“What's wrong with you?” he lifted up her chin. “Stop looking at me like that.”
“Nothing, I'll call you.” Pinky went into her house shutting the door on Avery.
