"John (If I Die)" –Lil Wayne Feat. Rick Ross
Three years later
"Avery you irritate my fucking life, just get off my phone right now." Pinky hung up in Avery's ear. He smiled at his phone and looked over at Riley.
"I got her good this time. Now you call her and take her to Richmond City center and I'll be there at 8."
Riley shook his head at Avery. He didn't know what type of proposal took almost a week to get done with. Avery had been ignoring Pinky for five days now. He knew that if he looked her in the eyes he wouldn't be able to pull off the perfect proposal. He got out the pink velvet box and opened it to see the ten carat diamond ring inside. Avery smiled and envisioned him and Pinky walking down the aisle.
"When you and yo girl gonna tie the knot?" Avery looked over at Riley.
Riley shook his head. "I ain't the type to get married. All she can be to me is the mother of my son and that's all she will ever be."
"Damn that's cold."
"So you telling me, after being with Horizon for three and a half years you never cheated on her?"
"Never. I can't even imagine myself doing dirt on her. That's my heart." By the look on Avery's face, Riley knew he was being honest.
"I know he's with another bitch Dana, I can feel it!" Pinky sat down at the table when she ended her call with Riley.
"Don't think like that, and besides you know how much he loves you." Dana wanted to tell her best friend what was up but she promised Avery.
"Ced, what do you think?" Pinky asked Dana's boyfriend.
"Well if a man doesn't come home to his girlfriend in a week, he's definitely cheating." Ced took a sip of his Corona.
"See, I knew it!" Pinky pouted on the verge of tears.
Riley sat waiting on Pinky, whom was thirty minutes late. He called her five times and she kept saying she was on her way. Riley knew he should have told her to arrive an hour early knowing that she will take all night to get there.
Pinky pulled up to Richmond and spotted Riley standing there. She wondered why he wanted to come to this particular place, it's where she and Avery had their first date.
"What's up beautiful?" Riley hugged Pinky.
"Nothing much, what's up with you playboy? And where's my god son?" Pinky playfully mugged him.
"He cool, I'll bring him by tomorrow to see you, but look I'm about to go get my money out my car real quick."
Avery looked at Pinky standing there with her arms folded across her chest. This moment couldn't be more perfect. She had on a pink dress that stopped a few inches below her butt cheeks, her hair was wrapped around her shoulders and she was standing in black three inch heels.
Avery got out of his car and headed towards her unable to hide his excitement. Pinky turned around towards him when she heard footsteps.
"What the hell are you smiling about? Where have you been? Why are you even here? Go back to the bitch you were with all this time you fucking bastard!" Pinky was letting him have it. Avery stood there smiling taking in her anger. He loved when her face turned blood-shot red when he made her mad. It was the ultimate turn on for him.
"Are you done lover?" Avery pulled her into his arms and gave her a week worth of kisses. He guided her over to his Mercedes and sat her on top. "Horizon, you have been in my life for three and a half years and I haven't gone a day without thinking about you. I love everything you do and cherish everything you hate. I want you to be my wife, my lover, and my best friend." Tears came into Pinky's eyes as Avery reached in his pocket to get the ring.
