Avery this Avery that. Pinky was tired of everyone telling her about Avery. It has been two months since they settled their differences and the people around them had gotten worse and obsessed with Avery. She thinks Dana thought about his actions more than she did and that was driving her insane. Riley always had something to say about her husband too. Pinky knew what was up though, nobody wanted her to be with Avery but they will have to get over it.

Their one year anniversary was coming up and they planned to get away from the bullshit fast. Pandora was growing and Pinky was patiently waiting for her monthly visitor who was a no show for two months. She knew she was pregnant again but she decided not to tell anyone just yet besides her mother.

“I knew it Horizon.” Toni looked at her daughter and smiled.

Pinky rolled her eyes. “Of course, you always know something I don’t know what I’m going to do though.” She held her head down.

“What do you mean? I know you aren’t going to get rid of it.”

“I know mama but I just don’t know. I don’t want to end up on an episode of Maury because I’m not sure who the father of my child is.”

Toni stared at Pinky in disbelief. “You mean to tell me Avery isn’t the only one you had sex with?”

“Well when we were fighting, Riley and I kind of did something.” Pinky tried not to look at her mother fearing of what she would think of her.

“Yeah, you’re in trouble then.” Toni told her. “Your marriage is something crazy! One minute he’s having a baby by some, some hoe and then you don’t know who you’re pregnant by.”

Pinky held in her laugh since this was a serious conversation. “I know, I fucked up but what’s done is done and whatever it is I’m sure we’re going to work it out.”

“I hope so Horizon. I really hope so.”

Avery was happy to hear that he was having a daughter. He was positive that his baby was going to be the shit. With him and Pandora looks combined, he was going to have to stop all them little boys from getting at his daughter. He rubbed his hand over Pandora’s purging stomach and smiled. Pandora was happy about Avery being excited about their child. She couldn’t want anything more, besides him.

“I could tell you’re going to spoil her to death already.” Pandora looked down at him.

“You damn right I am.” He took his hand off his stomach and stood up. “But let me get out of here I got to meet Pinky by twelve.”

“Okay, I’ll call you.” She hugged him and he left.

Pandora smiled. This baby was definitely a blessing she had going on. It brought her and Avery closer and she thought that he would fall in love with her once their baby was born. She left the doctor’s office and headed home.

Pinky sat at the table at iHop and waited for Avery to show. Things were going well and she prayed day after day that the baby she was carrying would be his. If not she was in trouble, real big trouble. If Riley find out how far along she is, she would never hear the end of his mouth claiming it. Avery showed up just before she was getting ready to call him. He kissed her and took a seat.

“You look tired.” Avery said.

“I’m not tired I just didn’t get enough sleep last night thanks to you.” Pinky smirked.

“Yeah I did handle my business last night didn’t I?” He boosted his ego. “But yo ass been sleeping a lot lately like you pregnant or something.”

Pinky laughed a bit to avoid an awkward silence confirming it. “Very funny.”

They order their food and talked about their upcoming vacation to Turtle Island, Fiji. Pinky couldn’t wait to get there. This was a much needed vacation that they both needed and a great place to go to for their anniversary. They ate their food bonding more and more.

“Our vacation is going to be epic.” Avery drank some of his orange juice.

“Epic Avery? Really?” Pinky laughed. “Yeah it is going to be nice, only a few days away.”

Riley sat in his car outside of iHop drinking a bottle of Hennessey. He was out of it and he was angry that Pinky had accepted Avery back so easily.  “Look at them all happy and shit.” Riley slurred his words and took another gulp of his liquor and pulled off. “Not if I have something to do about it.”

“What are you about to go do?” Pinky asked Avery walking out of iHop.

“Go mess around at Pinky’s for a bit then I’ll be home.”

“Okay, don’t have me waiting too long.”

They kissed and hopped into their cars. They were closer than ever and they had promised each other not to let anyone come between their marriage ever again. Little did they know, they had people hating on their marriage and they were hating hard. Only trust and a strong ego will keep them together and they were going to have to become stronger than ever to keep their marriage together and away from the bad burdens.
