§Andrews POV§
I was leisurely walking through the great tall trees, trying to escape my family at the moment. They were having all their friends over at the moment and let just say.... One of those friends were drunk and making out with a poster in my room.
I mentally puked.
Oh, I'm Andrew or Drew. I just turned 20 and also graduated high school a year ago. I really wanted to get into college, but I just wanted my parents to pay it all off, but noooooooo! They were all like, "You need to work for it!" And they said if I start now that it'll take at least 1 1/2 years to get all the money I need for it.
Yes, I'm lazy when it comes to work but what's the point when you grew up doing none of it other for when I was on the soccer team in middle school an high school. Don't let me forget I was captain also. Not to bloat or anything, but I was the best player for miles to come.
But in other words, I was a different type of player as well. I made a list of all the virgins in my school and from my Junior hear to my Senior year I slept with every one of them... Except for one.
Cassie Brie.
I must admit, she is pretty, but she would never show her beauty. I noticed that a lot of kids would bully her just evaluate of how she acted, but I just avoided her for the sake of my hormones.
So now here I am walking in the woods, thinking of when I should go back to my house or if should ever even go back. I seemed to also gotten myself lost as I have now passed by the same butt tree like five times.
"Ugh," I groaned out in frustration.
All of then sudden, there's the sound of feet walking the earths moist ground. I go towards the sound if leaves and sticks breaking only to meet up with her.
"Well, if it isn't the one and only, Cassie Brie." I spoke out. She turned around with a grimace look on her face.
What the hell did I do to you?
But there was something different about her. She had her hair down at her sides instead of her messy bun style from high school and she wasn't wearing her glasses. And she had a huge doggy.
I love doggies.
"What are you doing here, Andrew?" She shot out at me. Damn, she's got some teeth.
"Taking a stroll. And lost," I said scratching the back of my head. Idiot.
"Hah! Get a map." She mocked.
"Oh look, change if subject," I said walking to her dog. "Who's this?" I said, letting the dog sniff me as she grants me petting her.
"This is Bella," she said with a smile. Wow Bi-Polar much. "And I'm surprised she likes you."
How nice of you.
"What, I'm good with the ladies." I said winking at her, but she only scoffed.
"Well, bye!" She said as she walked past me.
Oh hell naw. You stuck with me now. I wanna know you better to be honest.
I decided to follow her and Bella. "So how's life been treating you?" I asked with a smile.
I'm trying, okay.
"It's fine, just nothing to do," she shrugs.
"Same here. It's like now that all of our friends and classes left, there's nothing to do and time passes a lot slower than usual." I said, starting to get deep.
"Exactly! I go through like 12 books a day. Don't judge me." She whined the last part causing me to chuckle softly.
"I'm not. I admire that about you. How you put your mind to something and do it with ease."
I saw a tint of pink on her cheeks for a moment only as she turned her head away from me. "Your not getting in my pants," she said with pure blunt.
"Err-- who said I was trying to?!" I raised my voice at her.
"Well, your being nice to me. What happened to ignoring the Nerd?" She said with a stern look now on her face.
"I never thought of you as a nerd, and besides, I knew you didn't like me so I didn't talk to you." I said looking down at my feet as they moved left and right.
She looked at me with complete sincere.
"To be honest, I didn't have the courage to talk to you. But I've wanted to get to know you as who you are rather than what everyone says you are." I said looking up at the trees.
I averted my gaze to her and she was now a few steps behind me, jaw hanging a bit. Then she just started walking again with her usual stern look.
"Your not getting in my pants," she mumbled.
"For the last time, I. Am. Not. Trying. To." I said, trying to get the point across to her.
"Then prove it. Get to know me and we will se what goes from there. Let's make a game out of it. Who ever falls in love first loses?" She suggested.
I smirked. She playing my type of game here. "Okay. What's the catch?"
"If I win, you will help pay for the rest of my college tuition, and if you win... That's up to you."
"If I win, I get you as mine." I said with confidence.
She looked taken back a bit by my statement. "Don't tell me your chicken on your own bet?" I mocked her.
"O-of course not you idiot. I don't chicken out on shit like others would. I go through with it. Now let's make this official." She finished, sticking her hand out for me to shake.
I grabbed her hand with mine and have it a nice grip before shaking it firmly.
That's when my whole life changed from then on.
