§Cassie's POV§
"A-Adam?"
There stood at the door way of the restaurant my childhood friend. Well more like Best Friend from Middle School.
He looked around before his eyes landed straight in mine. "Cassie!"
He walked-more like ran- over to me and Andrew. He swiftly dragged me into a hug while petting my hair.
"It's a sight for sore eyes! I missed you so much!"
"Same to you, Cass! How's life been treating you? How's your grandma?"
"Life's been good and Grammy Rose is doing great."
Andrew coughed and catches Adam and I's attention. He cocked an eyebrow at Adam.
"Oh, my bad! This is Adam, a really good friend if mine back in middle school. And this is my friend Andrew. We went to high school together." I explained, introducing one another.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Andrew." Adam said, extending his hand out to Adam so they can shake.
But Andrew just stood there with a nasty look plastered to him. He didn't move a muscle until he walked off, bumping rudely into Adam's shoulder.
"Was it something I said?"
"I have no idea. But I'll get your menu and table for ya since he isn't doing his job. Follow me."
I led him to a small table for two even though he was all by him self. (ALL BY MY SEEEELLLF DON'T WANNA BE sorry had to)
"So what are ya gonna have today?"
"Just a coffee would be nice. Yes on the creamer and no on the sugar."
"Ooooookay! I'll be right out and if ya need anything, just whistle."
I left him and walked to the kitchen and began making his coffee. Once I was done I walked back out with his coffee and a couple more condiments for it just invade it's not perfect.
"Okay, here ya go." I said setting it down in front if him.
"Thank you, Cass." He said before taking a sip.
"If ya need something let me know, okay?"
"I need something."
Wow. That was quick.
I turned around to face him again. "What is it?"
"Sit." He ordered.
"What?"
"I said sit."
"Um, okay?"
I walked over to the seat across from him and sat down as he took another sip from his coffee.
"So, what is it you need?"
"I want to talk to you. What's been happening and what's with your boyfriend over there?" He said pointing with his thumb over his shoulder.
