Star Wars Elseworlds: Evolved

Part Three

I got to Gree's base, refusing all offers of medical attention. I got to the command platform and typed in the frequency of my master's office.
The first thing I could see was a smirk stretching from ear-to-ear, I could tell he was more than pleased.
"Lord Natilus. Has Master Yoda been taken care of?" Palpetine asked
I knelt down and said "Yes, Master, the Jedi has been silenced, what is my next mission?" I asked
Palpetine looked around his office, pressing a few buttons then saying "I received an interesting transmission from Master Obi-Wan and Master Skywalker"- he played the message he received from the two jedi, it was a hologram of the two standing-"chancellor Palpetine, we'd like to meet to discuss a cease fire on both The Jedi and Queen Amadala's rebellion. We'd like to meet at the Jedi Temple, don't worry about calling off your guards, we've already seen to that, you may bring your Clone troopers, even your new apprentice, we don't wish to fight, we wish to negotiate"-the transmission cut out.
I looked at Palpetine and said "if you want me to take care of the Jedi, I will, master" I groaned
"No, my apprentice, we will both go, just the two of us,and if the Jedi take a more violent turn, then, you may have your way and destroy the jedi"
I lowered my head and said "as you wish, Master, I will return to Coruscant immediately".

I began walking to my Starfighter, as I made my way to the landing platforms, I could see Gree with his men in the infermery I walked up to him and said "Commander, because of you and your force's contributions to hunting down Master Yoda, you and your men will all be promoted".
Gree and his saluted me before Gree said "of course my lord, my forces were happy to help with hunting the jedi, anything for the empire" Gree said
I grinned and said "that's what I like to hear, General" before walking away to my star fighter.

I hopped into the cockpit of my Starfighter and plotted a course to Coruscant, I'll have to hurry for whatever the jedi are planning.
I pressed a few buttons in the fighter to get ready for lift off, and in a few short seconds I was flying out of Kashyyk's atmosphere.

I slightly reclined in the seat of my Starfighter, hoping that while I was in lightspeed I can get some rest.
I slowly closed my eyes, slowly slipping into a deep sleep.

I was woken by a beeping sound, an alert that I was just about to exit lightspeed, that scared the hell out of me.
I stayed reclined in my chair, waiting to reach my destination.

I entered Coruscant's atmosphere and began flying to my Master's office, surely he was still there.
As I flew I noticed that the jedi temple still had smoke coming out of it, good, it should keep the jedi scared.
I landed on the docking platform on my Master's office.
I got off my fighter and made my way into his office, and there he was, sitting at his desk talking to a few of the senators he was closest to.

I stayed leaned against the wall, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.
He sent the senators out a few minutes after I entered the room.
He stood up and walked over to where I was standing and said "Welcome back, Lord Natilus, I couldn't be happier because of what you've done"
"It was your order's, Master, I knew it was the best interest for the safety of the Senate, and as well as the safety of the galaxy" I replied
Palpetine grinned and said "Yes, yes my young apprentice, now, about the jedi"
"If you wish to hear out the proposition from the Jedi, I will accompany you, bit if the try anything I will not hold back" I replied
"Nor should you, My apprentice, I've called in a gunship to bring us to the temple, a small handful of troopers will also be accompanying us".
I nodded and immediately after that we could hear the sound of a gunship outside my master's office.
The two of us stepped out of the office and walked onto the gunship.

I saw around ten or so troops on the gunship, not sure what ten troopers are gonna do against two jedi, but I'm sure they're here just for show, I know I'm gonna be the one taking care of the Jedi if they try anything.

We were almost at the Jedi Temple, I did my best to sense the presence of the Jedi, and if there were more, not like it'd be a challenge if there were.
The gunship landed at the front of the temple, My Master and I stepped out of the gunship, the clones we brought along followed behind us.

I noticed the two hooded jedi, Skywalker and Kenobi, they didn't move, but they remained at the top of the stairs, I kept my guard up just in case.

My master and I made it to the top of the stairs, the two jedi still remained in their robes.

They pulled the hoods off their heads, master kenobi broke the silence by saying "afternoon, Chancellor, or rather, Emperor"
"What is it that you two wish to discuss, not only am I busy running the galaxy, I am also trying to keep it safe from the likes of you" Palpetine replied
"No matter how many people you fool with this propaganda, it won't be long until people figure you what you're hiding" Skywalker said.

Something was wrong, I could feel another presence, not of a Jedi, not the clones. I turned towards where I could feel the presence, it was a sniper using a cheap form of cloaking, aiming directly at Palpetine.

I quickly activated my lightsaber and jumped in front of him to deflect the sniper shot, making the shot bounce back and hit him.

I pushed my master back and said "Get out of here, the Jedi aren't here to negotiate, they were going to assassinate you"

The two jedi threw their robes off and activated their lightsabers, Kenobi then said "looks like we'll have to resort to plan B"

I took a defensive stance, but before the jedi were ready to attack, Palpatine handed my two lightsabers, their hilts longer than the lightsaber that I have
"Take these, my apprentice, use them to kill these traitors" Palpetine mummbled

I hilt ed my lightsaber and activated the two lightsabers, they were both double-edged with the blade being shorter than regular lightsabers.

Instead of taking a defensive stance, I lunged myself at the Jedi, jumping straight in for the attack.
I had plenty of training with double edged lightsabers, but using two at the same time was stepping it up a bit.

Everytime one of the Jedi attacked me I easily deflected the blow.
I used the force to push Skywalker towards one of the pillars, then I kicked Kenobi to another one of the pillars.
I saw Palpetine get back into his ship, knowing he'll be heading to safety I took this opportunity to get inside the temple.

I was blasted with the force, sent flying Into one of the pillars of the temple.
I quickly gained my Barings and activated the two lightsabers.
Kenobi went to strike, but I swiftly blocked the strike
"How do you think your old master would feel about this, Cam! Knowing all of his teaching went to waste, not on the Sith, but on one of your own!" Obi-wan shouted.
I blasted him with the force, sending him to the ground
"Master Imlan was an emotionless machine, as well as all of the Jedi in the whole order, I went and used my newfound power to ensure that the galaxy will be safe from you!" I shouted.

I went to strike Kenobi, but Skywalker threw his lightsaber, hitting mine before it could hit kenobi, causing it to bounce back to Skywalker.
I looked at skywalker and charged him, I lunged towards him and our lightsabers clashed together. Skywalker and I were in a standoff as to who would break formation first.
I heard Kenobi swing his lightsaber to strike, I used one of my other lightsabers to block the hit, he had swung so hard that when I blocked it, it caused his lightsaber to bounce off mine, causing him to lose his grip and fumble back.
I quickly ran up to Kenobi, I then kicked him down and stabbed him in the chest.

"Master! No!" Skywalker shouted.
In a fit of rage, Skywalker ran up to me, but his rage made him clumsy and off balance, I swiftly slashed his leg with my lightsaber, not cutting it off, but he won't be walking for a bit anyhow, I didn't want to maim him too much.

I lifted Skywalker up by his neck and said "take note, jedi, it's because of your order that it had come to this, your rules and your restraints are the reason why the galaxy will never be a truly safe place, I do what is right not for the Sith, but for the safety of the people of the galaxy!!"

I threw him to the ground before I strangled him fully, then I used the force to take both lightsabers away from Skywalker and a fallen Obi-Wan,
"If I were you, Skywalker, I wouldn't seek vengeance...it's not the jedi way"

As i began walking out of the temple, Skywalker, slowly stood up and shouted "damn you! Marrok!! Justice will be dealt to you one day!! By me, or by another! Your grip on the galaxy will not last forever!!", I ignored him and kept walking away, I know that this isn't going to be our last battle, and the empire is just getting started....
