Chapter 3- Haha Busted

I walked into my first class, Math and headed immediately to the back, ignoring the angry stares I was receiving by the people in the front- Non-Goths. I saw when Blaire, Justin's girlfriend, put her foot in my way. I pretended I didn't see and stepped on it.

"You little bitch!" She screeched and got up. "Who do.."

I stopped her with my hand at her throat. "You know, I'm sick and tired of all your bullshit. You saw what I did to Justin and his goons, don't think I' scared anymore to destroy that pretty face of your. Got that?"

She nodded and I let her go walking to my seat seeing admiration in the eyes of the Emos and Goths that were in the back. I sat down and took out my black box replaying the conversation I had with Kymmi I looked around to see that everyone was minding their own business while I opened the box. Tear nearly flowed at its contents. They were memories from the happiest time of my life, even though short. I took up a picture of me and him. I sighed, I still love the bastard. I dropped the picture and took all ten letters. I lied to Kymmi, I didn't burn them, I just never opened them.

"You liar!"

I dropped the letter and looked up to see Kymmi. Oh shit.

"You didn't burn them," she said taking them up. "You kept them all. Why?"

I looked down guilty.

"How could I?" I whispered drawing her down to the empty seat beside me.

She handed them back smiling. "You still love him, don't you?"

I nodded. "I know I shouldn't but it's just there and it won't g away. It should've left with him."

"You should call him."

"No." I replied shortly.

She frowned. "Why not?"

"Because he doesn't love me and he let," I answered.

"You don't..."

"Good morning students."

I turned towards Mr. Cole effectively ignoring her.

"Briella German, please come to the principal's office right now."

It was halfway through the math class, I looked at Mr. Cole.

He nodded. "You may go."

I packed my bag.

"I'm guessing Justin's there too?"

I winked at her before going out the door heading straight for the principal's office.

"Hey Ms. Myers," I sad to the principal's secretary a I opened the door. I saw Justin and his friends with him having a bandage across his jaw. I smiled at my handiwork.

"Briella, the principal will see you now," Ms. Myers said pointing to the door.

I winked at them as I passed and opened the door. I slammed it as I stared at the two persons I didn't expect to see here of all places.

"What are they doing here? I said from between clenched teeth with my hands in fists.

They turned to look at me. The drunk in the first decent and cleans clothes I've ever seen him in and the whore in a light white sundress, not her usual skin leather. They almost looked like the perfect parents. Almost. I could tell they were still on high.

"Sit down Briella.' It was Ms. Willz who spoke.

"If i's alright with you Ms. Willz, I prefer to stand," I replied.

"Your parents are here because you moved out ad about the fight between you, Justin and his friends," she explained. "Can you tell me your side of the story."

"I moved out because...." I trailed off as the drunk looked at me threateningly. I returned his glare. "I left that dump of a home because I've had it with their abuse and because this morning I had the last straw when I smelled pot in the house where they were passed out! Oh, on the note of Justin, I was sick of his shit too! Always trying to beat me up. Too bad for him, I ruined that perfect face of his."

The drunk's face was red as his fists were clenched.

The whore spoke up. "We ould never hurt our baby and I've never smoked pot in my life. Whatever that it."

I gagged. "Are you fucking kidding me. Don't make me puke. Any sensible person could see that you're high and reek of it."

"Briella," she began but the drunk cut her off.

"Shut up Mary," he spat as he got up dropping a folder on the desk, "we don't have time to spend on that piece of shit you stole eighteen years ago."
