Chapter 4: After Class

           

I started fixing my things. There were no homeworks given, I’ll be bored to death at home. I only bake cookies for an hour and after that... I have nothing to do.

            I better go home now. Maybe I’ll try a harder recipe. Butterscotch maybe?

           

I get my bag and made my way out of the room as my classmates stayed to chat with one another about where they should go, now that the classes have ended.

                        “Miki!”

           

I stopped. Was someone calling me?

Should I look back to know?

 

But who will call me? I must be dreaming. I continued to walk.

I heard my name again.

This time, its not a mistake right?

                        “geez, Miki, can you not really hear me?”

           

I looked back. It was the girl from our class, one of my groupmate. I can remember her face... but not her name.

                       

What was her name again?

                        “.........what do you need?”

           

“we have a meeting today, don’t you remember? Rin and Jun are already at the library.. I came back to check on you,”

                       

What do I say during this time?

When I forget things.

                       

I should apologize. Right?

                        “..............I’m....”

           

Before I could say the second word, this girl dragged me all the way to the library. I looked at her. She’s beautiful. She’s also confident when she talks to me.

She’s a great person.

If I could just remember her name, I could talk to her about many things.

Obviously, I can’t. This is the worst trait i could have.

Forgetting names.

           

My two groupmates looked at us when we arrived at the table. “Wow, so you caught her,” Rin smiled at us.
