Chapter 10: Rin's POV

There's really something wrong with me.

 

Like there's a bunch of butterflies in my stomach,

 

Flapping their wings inside the little chamber.

 

Butterflies, can you just leave me alone?

 

This girl,

 

Miki is beside me right now.

And we're on our way to the public library.

I am always on time, and for this day, I am 20 minutes early.

 

 

Sigh.

 

I have plenty of time to wait.

 

20 minutes.

 

 

"I'm sorry.. I'm late," Miki greeted, her voice was shaking.

I smiled at her, "you're not late, you're early,"

She looked at her watch, "its, eight twenty five,” she sighed. "It seems your watch's time is advanced," I told her and smiled.

She didn't answer but there's a look on her face that I find amusing...

 

Rather, beautiful.

 

What I mean is....

 

She looks innocent.

 

Yeah. That's the right term.

 

So we're just standing, she's so silent.

 

I wonder what's she's thinking.

 

I heard my phone ringing so I answered it. "Hello Rin! It's me Aya, I can't make it today, I have to look after my siblings, is Miki there now?"

I sighed and looked at Miki, she's looking at the sky.

"Yeah, she's here already. Then we'll just wait for Jun,"

"Oh.. He can't come, he said he'll be staying with her sick grandmo--"

"Aya, Jun's grandma passed away last year, what's his REAL reason?"
