After spending half an hour trying to find a suitable spot to discuss the matter, they finally settled on Hinata's house. As he lived alone, it wouldn't be too much of a problem to speak freely. Said Hinata in question paced back and forth in his room as Tsukishima sat in the rolling office chair, not three feet away.

"I don't get it. How?!" The tiny cheeto huffed, puffing his cheeks out at the person seated before him. "How, after all this time? I've spent the entirety of my life, which has been a very long time, mind you—"

"Oh, tell me about it," Kei rolled his eyes as he offered his input. The sun being stopped his walking and sighed at the cynicity of the response, plopping himself down on the floor in front of the swivel chair.

"I guess there's no getting around it, then. You know what I am, yes?" At this simple question, the four eyes nodded. "How do you know?"

Tsukshima hadn't counted on that question being asked. He hesitated before carefully choosing his words.

"I... I studied it for a school project once. Aren't fumetsu supposed to be myths?"

    "Surprise, no."

"Well, tell me a little more about how it works, then!"

"Fine, fine! Don't get your glasses in a twist!"

The short bit heated rally of verbal weaponry ends with a sharp exhale of breath on both ends. Hinata stares with a ferocity to kill, but drops it as he begins his explanation.

"To be totally honest with you, I don't even know why I exist. All I remember about my creation is that I exploded into being, just like the actual son. It's kind of really hard to talk about because there's nothing to go off of. Hence, the reason why we're considered myths."

Kei listens, drinking in the new information. He himself is what one would think "uncomfortably close" with the subject, due to his own experiences. But he doesn't care. Any intelligence he can get his hands on will do. Even if it's personal speculation.

"Oh." Tsukishima nods slowly, his sadistically teasing manner all but gone now. "I can tell it's kinda hard to explain, but do you have anything else to add on? Any other guesses you may have at why we—why you're here?"

Hinata simply shrugs. "Not really. It's not like I have any special powers or anything, unless you count inability to be hurt. The only way I could ever die is if the Sun disappears, in any way, shape, or form. And the only reason I know that is because I was around when it happened to someone else."

"Who?" Curiosity piqued, the blonde absolutely has to know.

"You know Pluto?" Shouyou asks.

Tsukishima nods. "Yeah.. But it's still around, isn't it?"

"That's true, but I had a friend once, the representative equivalent of it. She lost her status as a planet with the humans when they demoted her to a simple dwarf. In a sort of sense, the tiny blue rock 'disappeared' from their eye. They simply stopped paying attention to it. As a result, she faded away... and you get the rest of the idea." Small golden tears roll down Hinata's face as he recounts the story.

A new feeling washed over the four eyes, impulses making him want to hug the miniature figure in front of him. But a loud snap from outside stops him from doing so. He rushes to the window, his eyes widening at what he sees. The faint outline of a person in a pulled down hoodie runs from Shouyou's home, holding a small object in his hands as he does so. As Tsukishima squints, it becomes easier to see what the mystery man (or woman) holds. A phone. Who knows how much they'd heard, or if any part of the talk was recorded.

"Is your home soundproof?" Tsukishima yells the question, knowing how ridiculous it is, with worry quickly building behind his expression.

"No... of course not. Why?"

Kei bites his lip. "I think someone was listening in on our conversation."
