Miko has been gone for two months and we’re stopped talking to each other every day to probably once a week now. Mostly my fault…I pushed him away like I always do to people I like. Ollie was at work and Mason was locked in his dark room. I’ve been listening him mumble or shout out at someone named Jack. Was this what Ollie was talking about him having a break down? I tried calling Ollie but he won’t answer. Mason was saying things we would have never said…and his voice was a whole new person. I’ve sort of researched what he has and it said that he can take on different personalizes. Fuck it, I’m getting freaked out and I don’t want Mason hurting him or me. I put on my shoes then locked up all of the sharp objects and left the house. Ollie’s restaurant was on the other side of the city but I didn’t want to take my chances of driving. Mason just fixed his car, so I walked. I got half way when a group of old mates of mine stopped me. “Hey look its Art!” One of them said waving at the other guys to come over. One look at them and I could tell they were drugged off their asses. Wonderful…
“Haven’t seen you around for a long time,” One name Jason said, he was a big guy. He was a fighter but now he grows weed in his basement.
“I’ve been busy…I’m really busy at the moment so I have to go.” I started walking away from them but Henry grabbed my wrist. He was really tall, taller than me but really strong also.
“What’s the hurry? I’m sure you can blow off whatever you have going on,” Jason said, Jason was sort of the leader of the pack besides the main guy, Minnie. Yes, he has a girl name but his mother was also a druggie so she was probably stoned off her ass when giving birth to him.
“I really can’t…”
“But we have your favorite! See.” They pulled out little red baggies. “Want some?”
“N…No.” Yes, my mind shouted.
“You aren’t turning good on us, Art are you? You were always our favorite,” Jason said smirking; he looked back at another guy and nodded. I watched the guy pull out a spoon and started burning the brown powder. I tried to pull away from Henry but he put his arms around me.
“Let me go!”
“Come join us again,” Jason said the guy who was burning it handed Jason a needle with the liquid in it. “This is on the house.” I struggled against Henry, Henry didn’t even budge. Jason pulled my arm up and stuck it in my arm. Few minutes later the drug started to work, my body relaxed and Henry let me go.
“Have fun,” Henry said and they left me in the middle of the street.
