When the train stopped and they woke up, a giggling couple was sitting across from Lily and Scorpius. "Dommi! Genny! How lovely to see you both. Is it time to get off the train?" Lily questioned her cousin and her cousin's girlfriend. "Yeah. Albus sent Dom to come get Scorpius, and I just wanted to tag along." Scorpius groaned as Genevieve told her this. "Guess I'd better go see what he wants. Bye, Dominique. Bye, Genevieve. Bye, Flower." He got up to leave and when he left, the girls sat on either side of her. "What happened?" Dom asked her cousin. Lily blushed so fiercely, that her cheeks were almost the same colour as her hair. "Nothing happened! We were singing and dancing. Then, I suppose, we just fell asleep." Just then, Dom got a notification. "Oh,"she exclaimed,"Well...nevermind." Lily looked at Dom's phone and saw that it was from Louis, Dominique's bother. She also saw her name and Scorpius's in the message. "Are you and Louie gossiping about me?" Both girls looked a bit sheepish as they tried to defend their case. "Well...it's like this, see-" Dom explained how she had convinced Hugo to leave, then left herself so Lily would have the compartment to herself, then had Louis and Albus have a conversation that Scorp would get bored of so he'd come and hang out with Lily. "That was one of your over complicated schemes, Dom?" Dominique nodded. "You didn't have anyone, but I do and you're my best friend so I set you up. Am I a terrible person?" Lily shook her head. "No. But next time you want to set me up, please ask me first. But I think your plan worked anyways, Dom." Dom squealed. "Oh, I just love it when my set-ups work!" Genevieve rolled her eyes, and looked at her watch. "Geez! Lily, Dom, we'd better go or else our parents will leave without us!" Lily grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder. The three walked out together.
They didn't make it thirty steps before Hugo caught up with news of his own. "Lily! Dom! Gen! Guess what?" They must have all really been best friends, because in unison, they answered "what?" to Hugo's question. "Well," Hugo started,"First can I thank my wonderful, perfect, beautiful, amazing cousin Dominique Gabrielle Weasley?" Lily rolled her eyes. "Most of those are true, sometimes." Dom pretended to be offended. "A-hem. May I continue?" Hugo said, interrupting Lily and Dom's silent argument. They both gave him a gesture to continue, however Dom's was less friendly which caused her girlfriend to scold her. "Dom, using her Lily-Scorpius matchmaking plan caused me to get a girlfriend! I asked Abby out and she said yes! We're gonna hang out first Hogsmeade weekend back!" Dom and Hugo high-fived and Lily rolled her eyes. Genevieve saw her mother then, and gave Dom a quick kiss saying goodbye. Then, to Lily, she said, "Make sure she stays out of trouble." Lily fake-saluted her and gave a "yes ma'am" which earned a giggle from Gen. She ran over to her mom who proceeded to hug her then walk away with her. "If I am being totally honest, Gen and her mother look like twins." said Dom. The other two Weasleys agreed.
Albus and Scorpius had gotten off the train, followed by Lily's other two brothers, who had not yet noticed the girls and Hugo getting off the train. Scorpius, being the towering boy he was, wasn't looking down at the ground as he bumped into one Lily Potter. "Geez. Watch where you're go-" She was about to say something else, but she saw that it was Scorpius and stopped herself. "Sorry Scorp. I thought you were someone else. "No problem, Flower. It's not your fault." He said, flashing her a brilliant grin that made girls flock to him like birds to bread. Normally, she would have melted, but she noticed a cold glare from Madison Parkinson. That girl scared her. The glare went away as Madison's mother came to collect her. Lily turned back to Scorpius who was frantically asking her what was wrong. She shook her head and simply said, "Nothing's wrong. I'm totally fine!" But Lily, who was used to glares, knew that was a threat.
Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to update, as I know you've been asking me for a while now. School's almost over so hopefully I can write more over the summer. I hope you guys enjoyed this chappie, I'm working on the fifth chapter now!
