Trina

Trina was standing out front of the corner store she had walked to with her friend from school. Since her sister was going through it , she didn't have anyone to hang out with so she was forced to hang with her.

"Come on Bri," Trina said never taking her eyes off her iPhone.

Bri walked over with the two guys she had been talking to. "Trina, this is Josh," she said pointing to the short guy "And this is Rodney," pointing to the taller one.

Trina looked at the guys and said hi and started back messing with her iPhone.

"What's up with you lil mama, can I talk to you for a minute?" Josh asked.

Trina stuck her phone in her back pocket and looked at Josh. "Sure," she said.

She made it clear to him that she was talking to someone and he couldn't get her number.

He said he was cool with that and he had a girl.

"I'm just trying to kill time since my boy talking to your girl," he said.

So she gave him just what he wanted, a conversation.

Trina and Josh was talking and laughing that neither one of them saw Xion approaching them "So this how you doing it now?" he asked stepping between them.

Trina and Josh looked at him with wide eyes, clearly in shock. Alone with Bri and Rodney.

"We were just talking Xion," she said a bit embarrassed.

Lil X turned around to Josh, "This here is me homie," he said mugging the hell out of Josh daring him to say something.

Josh looked at his homeboy and his homeboy looked the other way like he wasn't seeing what was going on. It was clear they both were scared as hell.

"Are you serious Xion?" Star said with her hand on her hip not believing what was going on.

Lil X grabbed her hand. "As a fucking heart attack," he said damn near dragging her to his car, leaving her friend there.

Once they got in the car, Trina was heated with the way Xion approached her. "What the fuck was that about?" she asked him with an attitude.

He cut his eyes at her "That's what the fuck I wanna know," he said.

Trina didn't know why he was so mad, it wasn't as if they had made it official or anything. She folded her arms and smacked her lips.

"It's not like we made it official, so I'm free to talk to whoever I want," she said looking straight ahead. She could see Xion staring at her out the corner of her eye as they sat at the stop sign.

"What?' he said with an attitude.

"We never talked about being in a relationship so why does it matter who I talk to," she said now looking at him.

He dropped his head "Because I love you," he mumbled. Lil X tried to overlook the feelings he had for Trina, kept telling himself it was lust, and not love.
