The Little Unknown Adventure

"I will be back my sons, I am going to look for some food for us alright? Stay safe and don't go out too far from the lair," Splinter says as he starts walking, but feels someone tug on his robe. "Hmm?"

"Please don't leave Daddy!" Little Michelangelo begs his father.

"Oh Michelangelo," He picks him up in his arms, "You will be fine for a few hours without me. Yours brothers will take good care of you, alright?"

Mikey sniffles, then quietly says, "Okay," then hugs his father.

Splinter lets him down and, once again, says goodbye to his sons, walking out of their distance, and to the surface. Little Mikey stands there still crying a bit. But his big brother, Raph, comes up behind him.

"You know what will make you feel better, Mike?"

"A hug," He hugs Raph's neck.

"...Uh. Well, maybe. But, no, not what I was thinking," Mikey lets go. "I was thinking we could go and explore, wanna do that?" Raph asks, making Mikey's eyes sparkle with excitement.

"I do!" Yelled Donnie, who was ease dropping.

"Well, we have three volunteers, what about you Leo?"

Leo looks up and thinks for a moment, "Um...alright, but remember, we can't go too far," He warned.

"Yeah yeah, I know....party pooper," Raph says sticking out his tongue.

"Am not," Leo snapped.

"Are too, " Raph snapped back.

"Looks like they're at it again," Donnie said.

"I hope we see a bunch of cool stuff today!" Mikey smiled as his mind wondered on exploring the sewers.

Donnie looks down at his curious little brother and pulls him into a side hug, "Maybe we will, little brother. Maybe we will."

"Grrr, fine! I'm a party pooper! Can we just go already?" Leo yelled walking away from his difficult brother, Raph.

"You should have just excepted it from the beginning and we could have left sooner," Raph replied with a smirk as he followed after the steaming Leo to the sewers.

"Whatever," Leo said coldly, slightly annoyed, but was looking forward to exploring as the other three were.

"Yay! Adventure!" Mikey cheered running to catch up to Leo, as he wanted first look on the beginning of a new adventure.

"I can't wait to see new things to discover!" Donnie gasps, "What if I see a book I can read? Oh! What about something I can fix!" Donnie babbled while walking behind his other brothers.

"Ooohh!!" Mikey looks around the sewers, amazed at all the big pipes. He looks into a pipe, curious to what is inside.

"Mikey, you don't need to be putting your head into an unkn-," Leo gets interrupted by Mikey suddenly yelping from a rat popping out of the pipe he was looking in.
