I spent the rest of the week by effortlessly pissing Chloe off, avoiding Reece and ignoring Hairy. Today was already Saturday and as much as I want to keep avoiding a certain bad boy, I can't. I was going to start tutoring him today.

So yup! No more avoiding.

I woke up at around nine and started heading downstairs to have some breakfast.

"Good morning, Mom." I walked to the kitchen to see my mother having a cup of coffee while reading some magazines. She was already in her nurse uniform.

"Good morning, sweetie." Mom greeted back while looking up at me and giving me a warm smile. "You're up early? Is there something you wanna talk?"

She knows that 9 am was still early for me, okay? Especially during weekends.

"Actually, there is Mom." I answered while preparing myself some cereals. "I'll be out later, if that's okay with you?" Sitting across from her, I waited for her response.

"Of course, dear! It's about time you do that. I mean when was the last time you go out?" Her face lit up and that made my heart flutter. She looked so happy and this was the first time in a long time that I've seen her like this.

She was happy for me. I know how much she wants me to go out and make friends. Shame, that's not the reason I'm going out.

"So who's the lucky guy? I want to meet him first and give him the talk so-" Mom continued but I cut her off since she was getting the wrong idea.

"Whoa whoa easy, Mom. It's not like what you think. I'm going out to tutor someone not to date someone okay?"

"Oh sorry. I got carried away, but still I'm happy for you! You're finally starting to make some friends! So who's this person? The one you're going to tutor?" She sounded so excited like a kid who just got told by her parents that they're going to have dinner with Santa.

If that made sense.

"His name's Reece."

"Ooh so a boy, huh?" Mom asked in a teasing manner.

I started blushing when I started thinking of that boy 'cause as much as I don't want to admit it, I'm attracted to Reece. I mean who don't? The guy was freakin' hot.

If you tell him that, I'll just simply deny it.

I tried hiding my red face in my hair so Mom won't see it, but its too late. She saw it already.

"Oh my goodness, Shay! You're blushing! Awe, my baby girl has a crush.

"Mom, stop! I'm not blushing and I don't have a crush okay?" I shamelessly lied.

"Sure and your Dad and I only had sex once."

"Eww Mom! That's so gross." I whined, scrunching up my nose in disgust. She just chuckled and shrugged.

"Good morning, my ladies!" Drew greeted, walking in the kitchen and giving a courteous bow.
