The next morning, I was woken up not by Drew's horrible singing voice but by my phone ringing loudly. I groaned and buried my face deeper into the pillow, not wanting to wake up just yet.

It's a freakin' Saturday morning and I need all the sleep I can get.

When it won't stop ringing, I reached for it on my bedside table with my eyes still closed. Once my hand found my phone, I answered it without looking at the caller I.D.

"I don't care who you are and what you do, but I would really appreciate it if you stop calling and let me sleep some more." I said before the person on the other line can even say anything.

"Good morning to you too, beautiful." He then chuckled. The voice made me jolt upright in my bed.

"Kyle?!"

"The one and only, babe." He said, chuckling once more. Babe.

Reece used to calling you that too. Wait, why am I thinking of him?

I quickly shook that thought of him away and my eyes widen in disbelief when I catch a glimpse of the clock in my room.

"Seriously!? You're calling me at 7 in a Saturday morning? What is wrong with you?" I asked. I mean I was supposed to be still asleep right now.

"Why? I can't call my girlfriend whenever I want?" He answered with a question. I could just imagine him raising an eyebrow while asking that.

I frowned. "Girlfriend? I don't remember agreeing to be your girlfriend."

"Wait, I thought you said yes when I asked you out yesterday?" He faked a tone of disappointment.

"Exactly. You asked me out and not to be your girlfriend."

"But I thought it's the same thing." I can imagine him pouting.

"Well, it's not for me." I reasoned out. It's not that I'm playing hard to get or something like that, but I want to get to know him a bit more before I made it official with him. And besides I know he was just kidding.

"Are you saying you're not my girlfriend yet?" He asked again.

"Yup." I said popping the letter 'p'.

"It's fine. I'll change your mind soon." I can feel him smirking when he said that. "I'll pick you up at around six later tonight, so be ready."

"Wait, where are we going?" The thought of us dating brought a blush on my face and I'm just glad that he can't see my face right now.

"Don't blush just yet." He chuckled. "I'm not saying where though."

So much for not seeing my face.

"I'm not blushing!" I tried denying.

"Yeah babe. Sure."

We talked for a couple more minutes before he said bye cause he has some important things to do. It was already 15 minutes before 8 when we finished our conversation, so I decided to get some more sleep. But it seems like the universe was against the idea because not a minute later after closing my eyes, my phone dinged.

I swear at that moment, I wanted so badly to punch someone in the face. Someone like.. like .. like Chloe.
