CHApter 2 First Day of School

I woke up with the sun shining in my face.

The birds chirping. The trees dancing through the wind. The marshmallow clouds moving slowly in the sky. And then..

"...cause we danced to the best song ev-"

Ugh. My alarm tone. Remind myself to change that.

Today's my first day of school. Whoopee.

I took a quick shower and got dressed in a black tank top that says BEAT IT, white bleached skinny jeans and black converse. I went downstairs to the breakfast table and got greeted by my parents and aunty with a sweet smile on their face. "Good morning Sunshine" they said in unison. Of course I'm grumpy and cranky in the morning, but I answered them back with a forcable smile "Good morning mom, dad and aunt May."

I grabbed a plate of bacon and eggs and a toast and fruit and digged in my plate.

The breakfast was soo silent. My dad reading the newspapers. My mom reading the magazines and my aunt concentrating on her laptop. Ande me, I'm just focusing on my food.

But then my mom broke the silence in the table "Oooh honey look! There's a boy band who's gonna be in your school on the first day" "Who mom?" i asked scrunching my nose and wondering what boy band is it. Until I got an idea and asked her the boy bands i know "Is it Emblem 3? Before You Exit? ooh ooh is it 5 SOS???" while I jump up and down. But all of my questions were answered by a no from my mom.

"Then who is it mom?" she pressed her face in the magazine and her eyes were like going through the whole page of the magazine.

Then she said "It doesn't say what band is it honey" I felt sad and hoped that those were the bands I mentioned will be it.

It's a quarter to 8. School starts at 8 and I better be going. Don't wanna be late on the first day of school. I exchanged hugs, kisses and goodbyes to my parents and my aunt May.

It's off to school.

When I arrived at school and  I immediately went to the principles office to  be greeted by a young woman. She introduced herself to me "Hi! My name is Alice. What can I do for you?" she asked. "Oh Hi! My name is Sunshine Corazon and I'm from the Philippines and I'm new here." I said. "Oh and I guess i'll give you your class schedule now and locker number and combination" she smiled at me. She was very nice.

I got it and went to my first period which was Homeroom. Whew.

I got in and saw a blonde teacher wearing her skirt below the knees and stockings and a loong sleeved sky blue top. She had her hair falling down and tucked her hair in her right ear.

"Hello! My name is Sunshine Corazon and I'm new here." i said nervously. "Oh Hi! My name is Mrs. Heatherson and I will be your Homeroom teacher. Might I guess your from another country?" she asked and I nodded. After our introduction, she introduced me to the class. Some were being nice. Some were being rude. Their were jocks who do stupid things. Cheerleaders gossing and doin each others hair and nails. And then there are the geeks or nerds who do geeky stuff i guess. I went to my desk and got my book out and started reading it.

Actually Homeroom period is the time to do your homework and projects and stuff. But others really don't care about their grades. Then people started to throw crumpled paper at each other and others were gossiping. So I'll just read my John Green's 'The Fault In Our Stars'. I didin't know anyone here, so i covered my whole face with the book.

"Wow! Is that a John Green book?" he asked. I looked up and saw a pair of brown-blackish eyes looking at me with a heart warming smile. "Yes.Yes it is" i said and chuckle. "I forgot to introduce myself to you. My name is Ian Eastwood. What about you love?" he asked. Did he just call me love? His accent was not British, but English. "My name is Sunshine Corazon and I'm from the Philippines. I'm sorry for asking, but are you an American?" I asked him thinking he would respond to my question. "Haha. You noticed my accent and yes I'm an American. I moved here two years ago and now I'm the star dancer and the MVP in our basketball team." We talked and laughed for a while and then I heard a girl yell something from her desk.

"AHHHHHH I'TS THEM. THEIR HERE. THE REAL MOVIE STAARS. THE BIGGEST BAND ON THE PLANET." (A/N: see what I did there. If you don't get it, then watch BSE) says the girl

"OHMYGOD THEIR HOT!" "THEIR CUTE!" "CAN I HAVE A FOLLOW BACK?"

Soo many talking and screaming. WTH I said.

And then there they were standing by the door wih their usual signature clothes. Their eye colors were different. They were new students here, like me. Until they introduced themselves to the class "Hi Were.....

Ooooh! Who will it be? sorry if it's kinda short but atleast this is my 2nd chapter. i'll udate the next chapter. Busy of HW for school. Comment, Vote and Share it to others. :)))
