Chapter 22- The Date

(Jade's POV)
He parked his car in the parking lot of a beautiful restaurant. He opened the door for me and we walked inside.

The waiter motioned us to follow him on our reserved table.

"Here is your table, the food will be here in minutes." The waiter said as he dismissed himself.

I saw a bouquet of red roses on the table and Alex picked it up.

"This is for you." He said.

"Thanks." I accepted it then we sat.

The foods were served after 10 minutes.

"Do you like the food?" Alex asked.

"Yes." I said.

When were done eating, we got in his car and drove to- I really don't know where, I thought we're going home but I looked out of my window and all I see is trees and the light from the moon (which comes from the Sun that lighted the moon whic- wait why am I explaining this?)

"Where are we?" I asked and I didn't get a response, he's just silent.

Oh no, is he going to kill me?

"Are you going to kill me?" I asked him.

"No, of course not." He said.

I kept looking outside the window, it's dark and filled with trees. Then he parked at the side of the road. He opened his door.

"Wait, where are you going?" I asked him.

"I need to pee." He said.

"Oh, okay." I said.

He stepped out and ran away to where more private.

30 minutes later.

Okay, I'm freaking out! He's not yet here! What if he's been kidnapped?! Oh my gosh!
I was looking around but still, there's no sign of him. I need to get out and find him, but I'm scared.

What if he changed his mind and poop in the trees instead?

No.

I stepped out of the car and walked where he left minutes ago. I saw a rope that leads to- I don't know where - but I followed it.

Every rope that ties in the tree, there is a rose. The first rose with a note on says,

If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.

I walked 7 steps and saw a rose and another note.

I hope you know CPR, because you take my breath away.

I giggled then walk again. Another rose with a note.

I'm bad in Geography, but I can tell you that YOU LIVE IN MY HEART.

I walked again and saw a rose and a note.

Do you have a pencil? Cause I want to erase your past and write our future.

I giggled and took a 15 steps and found a white rose with a note.

Can I tie your shoes? Because I can't have you fall for anyone else.

And when I took a three steps, I saw a beautiful lights that surrounds the blanket with foods on the center and two pillows. I walked near it and two arms wrapped around my waist. I looked at him behind me.

"Do you like it?" He whispered in my ear.

"Yes, thanks." I said.

"Come." He said as he offered me his hand and I accepted it. We walked towards the blanket and we sat on it, he sat beside me.

He opened the container of sandwiches and hand me some. I'm still full but the sandwich was really yummy.

Once we're done eating, we lie down at the blanket. He turned off the lights and we looked at the stars.

"It's beautiful." I said.

"Yeah, you too." Alex said. I looked at him and he was already looking at me.

"Thanks." I smiled at him.

"You're welcome."

Then silence.

"Uh, if you had one wish, what would it be?" He asked.

"Meet my soulmate and live happily ever after."

Then, silence.

"If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?" He asked.

"Uh, London or maybe California." I said.

"If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?"

"To read people's mind, so I will know if they're lying, or something to say, or thoughts." I explained.

"How about this, if you're stranded in a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?" He asked.

"Easy, helicopter, life vest, and foods." I said proudly then we laughed.

After the stargazing and throwing questions to each other, we drove to my house.

"I'll walk you there." He said. We walked hand in hand towards my front door.

"I had a great day, uh, a-and time with you, Thanks." I said.

"Yeah, and I'm happy that you're with me." He said then kissed me.

Of course, not to break the moment, I kissed him back.

Then the door opened.
