Chapter 9- Field Trip

(Jade's POV)
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" I asked the devil, I mean, Jasmine.

"I was-" she started but I cut her off.

"Whoring around."

"As I was saying," she glared at me, "I was walking and saw my boyfriend with an ugly bitch-" I cut her off again.

"Wait, are you referring to yourself?" I snickered.

She's getting angrier to angriest. Cue the evil laugh.

"Ugh! Just stay away from my boyfriend!" She exclaimed.

"How can I if he's the one who keeps me close to him?"

"And I'm not your boyfriend." Alex said then smirked at me.

"See, then what's your issue here?" I asked, feeling that I won which I always have.

"We're not done yet." She glared at me and walked away.

"Yes, because your still alive." I murmured.

"What did you say?!" Okay, she heard it.

"Just shut the fuck up and go away!" I yelled. She was fuming in anger and then she stormed off.

I looked at Alex who's grinning from ear to ear.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said.

Minutes later of silence.

"Let's play twenty questions," I suggested and he nodded, "So, I will go first. What's your favorite color?" I asked him. I decided to ask something common first before digging deeper.

"Green. You?" He asked. Guess that's his question.

"Black. First kiss?"

"When I was 12, with my neighbor, Leila. Favorite place?"

"Paris. Do you like someone recently?" I asked him.

"Let's go for a walk." He suggested changing the subject, ignoring my question.

"But we still haven't finished our twenty questions!"

"Save that for some other time." He said, getting a little bit serious.

"Okay." I frowned.

We walked outside (with the skateboard in my hand) and starts walking to the park I've been hours ago. Alex has been texting someone.

"Uh, Chase and the other guys are at the park." Alex said and I nod.

We began walking at the other side of the park and saw them sitting on a bench near a tree, I saw Chase, Nate, Luke, Max, Jake, Henry, Dylan, Blake (Jake's twin brother), and Parker (their friend). We approached them.

"Hey guys!" I chirped.

"Hey Jade!" Looking at me and then Alex, "Hey, bro!" And they did a bro handshake.

"Ooh, someone's bringing a girlfriend, I thought bros before hoes." Blake said then smirked.

I took a step forward and glare at him but Alex grab my wrist to bring me back in my place and he mouthed 'don't worry'.
