(Jade's POV)
"I see." Dustin said looking at us.
"U-uh, h-hey brother." I said awkwardly.
"Who's this?" Dustin asked, glaring at Alex.
"I'm Alexander Danes, Jade's boyfriend." Alex immediately introduced himself.
"I'm Dustin Patch, Jade's brother." Then they shook hands.
"It's 11:35pm. You should go now and Jade," my brother looked at me and said, "We'll talk."
"Bye Jade." Alex smiled.
"Bye." I replied then he jogged towards his car and drove.
"Let's go inside." Dustin said grumpily.
He's acting like my Dad.
"It's almost midnight and you're still out with him! What were you thinking?!"
"I'm safe! See! I'm on a date with him, is that bad?! What about your girlfriend? You asked her out like almost everyday!" I exclaimed.
"He's your boyfriend huh?! I'm going to tell mom and dad." He said.
Oh my gosh, no no no.
"Please don't." I begged.
"No, they should know about this." He said.
"Why?!" I asked.
"Just go upstairs. Go." He ordered as he dialed Mom's number.
I walked upstairs then I heard him told Mom.
"Mom, Jade has a boyfriend."
Why it's such a big deal for him?!
Then I closed my bedroom door.

*the call*
"Hey, hun, what's wrong?" Mom asked.
"Mom, Jade has a boyfriend."
"Don't worry, it's normal for teenagers now, right? She can handle herself." Mom said.
"But Mom, she's still young." I said.
"Yeah, but she's turning 19 this coming Thursday." Mom said.
"Then she should have a boyfriend on Thursday, not this day." I said, emphasizing the word 'on'
"She's 18, she can have a boyfriend, it's not like it's her first boyfriend." Mom said.
"But still, she was hurt that time, what if her boyfriend will break her heart just like what asshole-Shawn did."
"Hun, just relax, we'll meet that guy tomorrow, we'll just see what happens."
"Wait, tomorrow?"
"Yes, we'll be home tomorrow, around 4pm, but we'll have dinner with that boy at 6pm."
"Okay, Mom, bye."
"Bye." Mom said then she hung up.
I walked upstairs and knocked on Jade's door then the door flew open.
"What?" She asked.
"Mom and Dad are going home tomorrow." I said.
"Okay, that's all?"
"Uh, we're having a dinner with your boyfriend tomorrow at 6pm."
