Chapter 2- Skipping Class

(Jade's POV)
I looked up and saw my childhood friend, Lucy.

"Hey! What are you doing here? I missed you so much!" Lucy said, she hugged me and I hugged her back. The girls were giving me the what-is-happening look. I just smiled at them and Lucy eyed me from head to toe.

"I'm fine. By the way, what brought you here?" I asked her.

"I want to visit my boyfriend, he lives in this town." She said. My friends are walking towards some store, not bothering to wait for me.

Lucy is now 24 years old and she still look beautiful and blooming. I haven't met her boyfriend. She told me years ago that she's going to invite me in their house so I could meet her boyfriend but the next day, she told me she was leaving.

"Oh."

"Well, bye Jade, I need to go, Andrew is waiting for me." She said.

"Wait, he's here?"

"No, I'm going to his house."

"Okay, bye!" I said and we hugged once more.

I entered the store that my friends went in and they were looking at me, waiting for an explanation.

"Lucy is my childhood friend, she's already 24 years old. She used to live here but she transferred to New York for work." I said. I missed her so much, we did not keep in touch most of the time because she's busy working.

"Okay." Diana said and they nodded. Since our stomachs are grumbling, we went to McDonalds.

We ordered and took one of the booths. We looked at Zyckie who's typing so fast on her phone and giggled when her cellphone beeps. We didn't say a word and we stared at her like she grew some another head. She noticed our weird stares.

"What?" She asked us.

"Who are you texting with?" Cess asked motioning at her phone.

"Oh, it's-" she said but she was cut off by a voice.

"Hey girls, you're actually skipping school, that's bad." A guy voice said. We looked up and saw Alex and his friends and the one who talked to us is..

"By the way, I'm Dylan." We just looked at him while Zyckie stood up and hugged him.

Like they didn't skipped classes.

"Oh my gosh Dylan! You never told me you were coming here." Zyckie said. We turned to look at her.

"Okay, so Zyckie was texting Dylan." Reygina whispered to us.

"Come and join us!" Zyckie invite them. We moved to a bigger booth.

"I thought Shack and Zyckie are going on a date." I told them.

"Yeah, but not now." Carly said and I looked at her shockingly.

There are 8 of them. I don't know all of them. Okay, maybe I heard their names being talked about girls but I do not even know which face owns those names.

"I'm Jake." The guy with blue eyes and blonde hair said.

"Luke." The black short hair and brown eyes said.

"Max." The brown hair and grayish eyes said and Carly suddenly giggled.

That was not obvious, Carly. *rolls eyes*

"Alex." Alex said while texting, not bothering to look at us. He has brown hair and green eyes.

"Henry." The red hair guy and blue eyes said. Kate was staring at him like he was holding a cute unicorn.
