Well it's finally Saturday morning. Jas has been telling me for the last 2 days how excited she is to see Mani play basketball again. It hasn't been bothering me because not one time has she mentioned Blue. However, I still have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that Blue is gonna do something seriously fucked up. I looked at the time I had a hour left to get ready to pick up the beautiful Jas.

I took a quick shower and washed my hair. Then I brush my mane in a high ponytail and let me fresh undercut show. Then I put a red bandana on. I decided to wear a plain grey long sleeve shirt and camo skinny jeans. To finish off the outfit, I slipped on my solid red vans and wrapped a jean button up around my waist. I was feeling myself I couldn't lie. I grabbed my keys and left.

Jas texted me 5 minutes ago telling me where she was. I got there 2 minutes after.  She hopped out of her mom's car. She was dressed comfortable but she still looked like a goddess to me. She wore a blue hoodie, jeans that showed off everything, and some shoes to match. I was smiling hard! She got in my car and looked at me and starting laughing. She knew I was staring at her but she just went with it.

"You ready?"

"Um yeah."

"Ok. Put your seatbelt on. I'm not responsible for your injury in my whip."

She laughed and put it on. It wasn't too long into the ride until the devil's name came across her lips. Blue. Today she had something nice to say about her.

"Blue really is trying to change."

My hands on the wheel tighten. I bite my tongue from saying the wrong thing.

She must have saw my hands get tight, "D, she really has. We hanged out the other day. It was nice. She was making me laugh and she told me that she really loves me. She was apologizing about all that happened before and how she's gonna change. Of course I didn't fully give in to her but I'm giving her a chance."

"As long as she makes you happy Jas then I'm good. I just worry about you. That's all."

She looked at me. Then put her eyes on her phone.

"Who are you texting?"

"Um Blue."

"Oh ok. What are y'all talking about."

"We're actually arguing right now..."

I looked at her, "I thought you said she changed Jas."

She put her phone down even though it was flashing and vibrating letting me and her both know that Blue is blowing her up.

"Give me the phone Jas "

She looked surprised that I said that. So I said it again. She finally gave it to me and I kept it on my side of the car. She was a little mad that I actually took it.

"Jas. You're with me. We're gonna have a good time ok. I don't want you mad."

She was silent but eventually we started joking around.

Finally, we made it to UMHB. We circled the whole campus for 30 minutes but we eventually found the gym. We payed for our $10 ticket and walked in. We made it just in time too. Both teams were warming up with 5 minutes to spare. We found a spot next to our friends and their nephew, Kyng. She waved at Mani and played with Kyng until the game started.

Jas and I were joking around the whole game but Mani's squad took a loss. It wasn't too long after the game that Mani made her way up the stairs.

"Mani!", Jas yelled.

"Hey punk! Who brought you here?"

"D did."

Mani looked up and saw me. We did our little handshake and hugged. I told her good game then she went back to talking Jas. You know I'm in a new place and I'm not looking at any baddies. This is sad. I'm losing my game. But...Jas got a hold on me and she doesn't even know it.

We stayed until Jas was ready to go.

"Thanks D for this. I really needed this."

"Anytime."

She looked at me. I could tell she wanted to say more.

"Come here. We have to take a picture since I'm looking this good."

She laughed so hard but we took a good picture. I posted it to my snapchat and saved it to my phone. I'm not losing this picture. She looks too good. We hopped back in my car and started the trip back home.

"D?"

"Huh?"

"Can I have my phone back?"

I looked at her. She knew what that meant.

"I'm not gonna text Blue I promise."

I took a deep breath and gave it back. Other people were texting her phone so she sent messages to them but she just read Blue's message. I kept a watch on her. About 20 minutes after I gave her back her phone she was texting and her fingers were moving fast. She was typing angry.

"Jas. Who are you texting?"

"Umm.."

"If it's Blue I'm going to be pissed"

"Calm down. She just bugging so much"

"What the hell Jas! What did I say?"

She got quiet. She knows I'm highly upset.

"Jas. I watch her hurt you and I refuse to let her do this bullshit under my watch. I can't do it. It breaks my heart to watch her make you cry. I usually don't say anything regarding her but today this is crossing it. If you're gonna let her do this at least do it when I'm not around so I don't see you hurt"

It was quiet in the car besides the music but I turned that off too. This is gonna bite me in the ass later.
