Lynn hadn't slept the same since that day at the bay. She felt incredibly weird about the whole thing, her stupid brain had ruined a promising start for her new family. Luke was officially moving in today with Giselle, while Jade moved into an apartment with friends ahead of his upcoming graduation.

"Need some help?" Luke asks, taking an unlabeled box out of her arms and bringing it into his new room.

"Sorry," she apologizes,"I should be helping you, not the other way 'round."

"S'Alright." He replies, placing it on his bedside table.

Lynn looks around his bedroom, which was formerly the guest room. Now the walls were plastered with posters from cult classic movies and musical legends, along with some cute family snapshots. He'd swapped out the white bedroom decor for a dark almost black wood, and he'd added some finishing touches: a record player, bookshelf and desk littered with miscellaneous items.

"It looks great." Lynn remarks with a grin, "Totally transformed."

"Thanks." He replies a moment later, looking around the room with a look of accomplishment.

She plops down on his bed and grins, to which he makes a disgruntled expression, involving a nose scrunch that Lynn thinks is way too cute. He joins her, jumping on his bed so hard it almost sends her flying, the blonde screams, grabbing onto his sheets so she doesn't end up on WWE Smackdown.

"Dad! He's trying to kill me!" Lynn screams, fully aware her Dad's downtown with Giselle looking at rugs for their bedroom.

"Babe! I'm coming!" Screams a high pitched voice that sounds extremely panicked.

The two share an exchange of confused expressions and watch as Melody slams the door wide open, her inhaler in hand. To add to it, her hair is a complete mess of tangled loose curls, pimple stickers still on her cheek and clad in her brother's sweatshirt that reads 'DIG BICK!'.

Luke bursts into squeaky laughter that surprises Lynn, who joins him with her own wheezy version. Melody stands unimpressed with her arms folded, eyebrows furrowed so tight she appears to have a unibrow.

"L! I thought you were dying!" She barks.

"I thought I was too!" Lynn says in defense, raising her hands. "He jumped and almost sent me flying!"

"Hey, you're not the one who almost got killed with an inhaler." Luke jokes, a teasing look on his face.

"I'd be more worried about Lynn killing you, she threw a rock at my head for 'stealing' her rainbow pencil." The brunette huffs, holding back a smile at the memory.

"What?" Luke exclaims, eyes open wide in surprise.

"You actually stole it! I still never got it back!" Lynn snaps, her eyes narrowing at her best friend.
