The "Ex" Mishap

{Elliot's POV}
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, which was a clip of a song from the band Twenty Øne Piløts that just repeated and repeated, I rolled over, my eyes blurry and my thoughts clouded, and turned off the alarm, then turned back over, accidentally nudging something in my bed.

I wiped my eyes and looked over, it was Lexi, I had forgotten she had slept in my bed last night, she was so goddamn gorgeous and she always bashed on herself for her looks, it upsetted me that she couldn't see her own beauty.

Somehow, her being asleep made her look even more beautiful, which wasn't that difficult, she looked so innocent and pure, and happy when she slept, she was the type of person to box in her feeling deep inside, and her being asleep, free from all those dark thoughts made her look free and happy, and I loved it.

I didn't wanna wake her up, I don't wanna destroy the innocence she had at that moment, but it was the first day of university, so I leaned down and kissed her on the nose, "Lexi, its time to wake up" I said rubbing her back, my face only inches away from hers.

She sat up, half asleep, it was only 6:00 am, I didn't blame her, "oh, yeah, first day and shit" she mumbled out, rubbing her eyes, I leaned over and kissed her on the lips then hopped out of bed and walked to the kitchen to make some coffee.

When I came back to my room she was in the bathroom with the door locked, "hey Lex, you okay in there" I asked through the other side of the door, I heard some mumbling, and curses under her breath "uh yeah, yeah I'm fine, I'll just be a second" she replied.

I put the coffee down beside the door and walked to my room to get changed, being the usual emo person I am I just put on a black band tee, a red flannel, some jeans and a grey beanie, I brushed out my silky red hair, which was simply just combed over to the right of my face and headed out to the living room.

When I left my room Lexi was out of the bathroom, the coffee was gone, her bedroom door was closed so I just assumed she was getting changed, we didn't need to be on campus till 8:00 and it was only 6:30 so we still had quite a bit, so I turned on the TV and went on YouTube for a bit.

Half an hour had passed and Lexi had finally left her room, her eyes were all puffy and red, and she was trying to hide her face, immediately I was worried, I got up, grabbed her arm and made her turn around, "Lexi what the fuck is wrong" I said in a tense voice, she pulled away and walked Into the kitchen "its nothing Ell, don't worry, I'm fine" she said, still hiding her face from me.

"I don't believe you" I said and I grabbed her arm again, this time pulling up the fabric of her sweater sleep, exposing her wrist, which was covered in a bunch tiny scratches, and her skin was stained a light red, both of us gasped, "Ell, fuck, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened, just, fuck" she stuttered out, my eyes begging to water "Lexi! You said you were gonna stop, you said we were gonna keep clean together, what set you off?" I said holding onto her wrist still, rubbing the small cuts.

She pulled her arm away and pulled down her sleeve and turned away again," Jake.. My ex, the one that...you know" she said while packing an assortment of stuff into her bag, "I found out that he's going to UBC, and he's taking the same courses as me, and is gonna be in the same class" she continued, obviously upset, but trying to hide it.

"Fuck Lex, I'm so sorry" I said, walking over and hugging her from the back, "is there any ways you can may ever moved to a different class" I added, she began to cry, grabbing onto my arms for comfort, "i-i don't know Ell, I just dont wanna fucking see him, fuck, it's gonna be so hard" she said, willing her tears, "I can fucking do it, I'll be okay, I just, needed to this morning, I'm so sorry" she said tugging on her sleeve.

I leaned down, pulled up her sleeve and kissed he cuts that had been made on her wrists " it's okay, I understand, but I'm glad your gonna try to be okay, you should go get ready, we have to head to school soon" I replied, I stood up and kissed her, then she walked off to her bathroom.

She walked out of her room wearing a floral crop top, a black fake leather jacket and some high waisted black jeans, with her hair done up in a messy bun, she looked lovely as always.

I walked over to her and kissed her, it lasted about a minute, and then she pulled away, "Elli, will you be my boyfriend?" She asked, smiling wide, I kissed her again "obviously ya smart" I said, and we both broke out laughing, fuck she was the cutest thing, I'm not a religious person but she was a fucking blessing man.

It was about 7:15 so we grabbed our shit and headed out, we stopped by
Tim Horton's on the way there and admittedly got lost s few times, and admittedly, some on purpose.

By the time we got there it was 7:50 and all the students were meeting I'm the main hall in ten minutes, "fuck, this place is fucking huge" said Lex getting out off the car, I giggled and looked at her "Not as big as me,LEZI!" I yelled at Lex from across the car, she gave me a straight face and slowly started to walk around the car "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry, don't hurt me" I said desperately backing away from her, she came closer and closer until I was backed up to a tree, she started to kiss me, which confused me, until she hit me in the crotch, I fell to the ground groaning in pain, while she was laugh her ass off by the car.

"If your balls haven't dropped yet, they have now" she said, grabbing her stuff from the trunk, I got up and held onto the car "I hate you" I said, struggling to grab my stuff from the trunk, "I love you too" she replied, the grabbed my hand and started to skip over to the front of the building.

When we got to the front of the building there was what seemed like a thousand adults, younger, and older, crowded around, we grabbed a pamphlet from an old lady and walked inside.

I opened up the pamphlet and found a map and found the main hall, we walked over and situated ourselves in two chair near the back of the room, and right across from us was two grown men, who happened to be my ex boyfriend who cheated on me with my best friend, and Lexi's ex boyfriend who sexually assaulted her full on making out.

We both gasped when we realized who they were, and they both turned around, with shock on their faces as well.

Eyyyy sorry this is very short again, and probably has a lot of errors, but hey, it's not like I'm an author, so whatever, its like 1:00 AM so sorry if some of this shit is confusing, I'm tired, but anyways thanks for reading my shit, I'll really try to make the next chapter longer
