It was still awkward. With the fact that we were in a room together alone, we could only sit by each other and say nothing.

      To break the silence, I mumbled, “I have to go now…”

      “Alright, bye.”

      “Is that it?

      “What, do you want me to give you a royal ceremony to exit this room?”

      “Bye, Kayciance.”

      I went to the air vent and removed the cover. I was about to crawl in until she startled me.

      “Wait.” She said.

      “Yes?”

      “Can you meet me tomorrow after breakfast in my normal room?”

      “Uh…sure.”

      I turned around and shuffled back to the air vent. I crawled back in and left.

      I cannot explain how awkward that was.
