"Shoot at me, and she gets hit." Sean's deep voice echoed throughout the busy plaza. I cry out in pain once again as he drags me across the circle, holding me in front of him.

The SWAT team falters, thinking about if my life was worth capturing him.

Sean takes this moment and jerks me to the right, causing an explosion of pain in my sholder. Whimpering, I begin to fight him. Kicking my leg back and hitting him in the shins, I hear a grunt but he doesn't loosen his grip on me.

I try again, attempting to use my four years of gymnastics to my advantage. Although that was like, eight years ago. Reaching my arms back, ignoring the pain in my sholder, I grab his arms. I swing my body up and I bring my foot down on his head. He crumbles to the ground, and I get out of his grip, running to the officers. The pain in my sholder returning as my adrinalin rush ends, tears begin to well in my eyes.

"Are you okay?" One of the officers ask, then he shifted his weight onto his other foot, implying he thought it was a stupid question.

"I guess." I manage to say, everything that has happened flowing back to me.

"Let's get you to the ambulance." He gengerly leads me to the medical van, as I am enveloped in sorrow. My heart aching, I reach up and ball my hand into a fist at the center of my chest. He sits me down, and the medics begin to check to see if I'm hurt.

"Does anything hurt?" One of the medics ask. I nod, first thinking 'my heart' then 'my sholder'.

"My sholder." I say pointing to my right arm. He looks at my sholder, moving my arm, making me wince.

"Your arm is dislocated. What I am about to do is going to hurt, but your arm won't heal correctly if I don't. " I nod, bracing myself for the pain as he grabs my arm and forces it back in place. I feel the hot liquid run down my cheeks as I attempt to not cry. He finished, his green eyes looking into mine worriedly, and I just nod, telling him that I'm okay. I nod too much. Oh well.

I look over to the middle of the plaza to see Sean in cuffs. I stand up and walk towards him, fire igniting in my chest as my eyebrows furrow in anger.

"I never got to tell you how grateful I am that you used me as a sheild. Thank you. Have fun in your jail cell." I say, my voice laced with sarcasm.

"What?! Wait, I can explain! " I raise an eyebrow at his remark, crossing my arms.

"Really? And I have a magic trick."

"Okay, what's that magic trick?"

"Poof." I reach my hands out, splaying out my fingers as I spoke my magic word. "You're single." I cross my arms again, the venom returning to my voice. "What is your explanation? "

"I - I..." His voice cracks as he begins to explain why he gave my life for his own.

Also, I would like it if you would recommend this book to some friends or something. I am changing the plot from the earth day thing to a mystery so yeah. Ash will just have a eco-crazy friend. Thanks! I will try to make more Chapters and stuff so... yeah.
