{Ch.7} Double Date Part:2

Zane's POV-

"Okay, Open your eyes!" Aphmau said excitedly

I opened my eves and we were In the parking lot and in front of me was a black motorbike with gray line art painted on it. I looked at Aphmau excited, yet a bit confused.
She had a purple helmet on and she was holding a pair of keys and a black helmet.

"A-Aphmau, you got this.. for me?"

"No, I'm actually just showing you, Of course its yours!"

"H-How did you know I wanted one?!"

"I talked to Garroth about getting you a gift and he helped me afford a motorcycle! Do you like it?"

"T-Thank you! So much!!" I said loudly, wrapping my arms around her

"Well, what are you waiting for, lets go!" she said, tossing me the helmet and getting on the back

We began riding down the street before I quickly stopped as traffic started when the red light came on.
Aphmau got a bit shaken up but she was fine

"Hold on" I said loudly against the roar of the motorcycle and the cars around us.

I grabbed her hand and put it over my shoulder right before she engulfed me in a hug from behind. The green light came on and we were moving again.
She stopped hugging me and just put her hands on my shoulders.

-Time skip to reaching the venue-

We got to the venue but it looked bigger than expected. It had a second floor and a viranda.

Aphmau's POV- We parked nearby and walked up to the guard by the velvet rope.

"HAVE YOU BEEN INVITED" The bouncer said in a loud, intimidating voice

"N-No we were invited by people named Katelyn and Travis" I explained

He looked through some papers on a clipboard before letting us through

We looked around and there was a big staircase with a red carpet leading upstairs directly in front of the entrance with golden railings and a sign that said 'Open Bar Upstairs', circle tables with white table cloths and fancy white chairs around them and we looked to see that there was an open buffet and a dance floor. We spotted Katelyn, Travis, Nichole and somebody else at one of the
Tables so we went there to talk to her.

"Katelyn you said this was a restaurant!?" I asked

"I thought you would have said no if I told you it was a party!" She said

"How did you even get invited here?! Theres only really fancy people here!" Zane asked her

"Well Nichole's new boyfriend got her to be able to invite somebody and even got me a plus one and their date!"

"Oh by the way this is my boyfriend, Jonathan!" Nichole said

"Hello there! My parents are throwing this party for their 50th Anniversary!" he told us

"All this for an Anniversary?" I asked

"Well they have so much money they decided, why not?"

They all trailed off talking as I began feeling a bit drowsy as my vision faded to black
