{Ch.17} Rewind

A/N- The story escalated really quickly. Let's go back a bit a bit more of a familiar territory, college!
P.s. My writing style isn't exactly the same as it used to be but it should be better!
And the chapters will be longer.

Three years earlier

Aphmau's POV- Friday

Zane has been really sweet lately. Just this morning, he told me that after class we're going out for dinner. I'm exited but for now, I'm stuck in a class that stopped interesting me a long time ago.
"You taking down notes? The test is next week. If you want, I'll share mine." Kitty offered, showing me a notebook page full of doodles and notes.
"Maybe."
I audibly ripped a piece of paper out of my notebook and started ripping pieces of paper from the corner, watching it flutter down to the floor. Kitty observed me and my actions.
"You're nervous about the date with Zane later, aren't you." She said, taking the paper from my hands.
"Kinda.. I really don't know what to wear, he didn't tell me where we're going."
Kitty looked at me, I could tell she had an idea.
"What if I helped you? I'll come over right after-"
"Class dismissed." She was cut off by the professor dismissing us, everybody stood up to leave.
"Right on time."
She gathered her things and grabbed hold of my wrist, pulling me in the direction of the dorms.

Later..

"So, any info on the date?" Kitty asked, rummaging through my clothes.
"Nope, though knowing Zane, it's probably not gonna be fancy." I told her, thinking of what Zane would do.
She kept rummaging through the closet, looking at all my clothing.
"If it's just a chill date, you should just wear this." She said throwing a galaxy shirt and jeans onto my bed.
"You sure?" I asked, picking it up and looking at it.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it'll be fine."
"If you say so."
With that, I picked up the clothes and walked into the bathroom.
"I'll let myself out!" I heard Kitty say as I closed the bathroom door.

Later..

"I got an awesome dinner planned, it'll be great." Zane reassured me, leader ng me down the street.
"Where to, weeaboo?" I said cheerfully, walking by his side.
"Pizza Hut as always." He said, pointing at the restaurant across the street from where we are.
I shrugged, "I'm not complaining."
We came overs to the restaurant and I let Zane order.
"One party sized pepperoni pizza, and to drink, Poopsi and a Coke. He said, the waitress nodding and walking off.
"Wow, party sized. Somebody's got an apatite, huh." I said, looking around the restaurant.
"We can take some back to the dorm, share some with the others."
I giggled, "Look at you, thinking of sharing instead of being all emo pony man"
He wrapped his arm around me. "I do it for you"
I spotted the waitress coming towards our table, drinks in hand.
"Here you two go, you're pizza will be out shortly, anything else you two need?"
I thought a second, "Can we get the pizza to go?" I asked
"Of corse, one moment." She said, turning around to leave.
"Why to go? This is our night out" He asked.
"Would you rather be in a crowded restaurant, eating pizza or be in a bed, watching pony videos and eating pizza?"
He thought a second. "I guess you're right."
"Heh, like always."
