Chapter 7 All Cute and Cuddley With A Side of Hate

The following morning, Ty and I were sitting downstairs on the couch. I wasn't hungry for breakfast, and he just didn't feel like getting up.

He rested his head on my lap and I played with his hair. It was soft to the touch.

"How come you can play with my hair, but I can't play with yours?" He asked me, reaching up to touch my head. I gnawed on his hand, as if I were some toothless kitten or something. He just laughed at my childness and pulled his hand back.

"Yuck! Skin tastes horrible!" I said as I spit into my Creeper hoodie sleeve. Ty laughed even harder.

"You're so f***ing cute," He smiled up at me. I smiled back down at him.

"So are you," I replied.

"It's 9 a.m., stop being cute," Sky said as he groggily walked down the stairs and slumped into the kitchen chair.

"We can be whatever we want!" I said. "We don't have to stop!"

Sky groaned and put his head in his hands. I was tempted to find out what was wrong, but judging by the tension that filled up once Mitch walked downstairs, I could only guess.

Ty and Mitch weren't exactly on speaking terms, either. Did I really cause all of this?

"You know, if you guys don't talk to each other, I'll fly back to Texas or Michigan." I said, to which Ty shot up and pulled me into his chest.

"NO!" He nearly yelled. "You can't leave me!"

"Calm down dood," I said as I lightly pushed myself away from him. I hated when people did that, pull me into them to the point I can't breathe. I'm claustrophobic.

"He's right," Husky said. "You can't leave us."

"Well, then, get to talking!" I said, waving my hands around.

"Do you think I wanna talk to a guy who drove my cousin to nearly cutting, and who kissed her when he and her had lovers? Do you think I want to talk to the guy that hit you?" Mitch growled. "F*** no!"

"It was an accident on Ty's part," I said. "As for Sky......he's just a pig......lox....."

"#PIGLOX!" Jerome screamed out, to which everyone, including Sky and Mitch, cracked a smile to.

"I'll kidnap Nicole if you don't freaking make conversation with your friends." I said. Mitch sighed.

"Fine," And so he talked to Sky.

Ty rested his head on my shoulder and buried his face into my neck, lightly kissing my neck. Not enough to where it was sexual, but to a sweet point....if that makes sense.

At some point during the day, Dawn, Jesse, Chase, Ileyah, Michaela, Nicole, and Flame came over. No one spoke about my near cutting and Adam's random act of 'heroism'. Jesse and Chase didn't know, judging by how they never brought it up.

"So....Libby......truth or dare?" Ileyah asked me.

"Uh.....Truth?" I questioned.

"Is it true that you tried to cut.....and Sky kissed you?" She asked. Flame gasped.

"No," I said. "At least, not since he and Flame got together,"

Ileyah gave me a look. Then, she stood up. "I'm gonna be so f***ing honest with you,"

"OK.....?" I was confused now.

"I don't ship DeadLapis. No, I ship LibbyLovesSky. Always have, always will." She said.

"Well I shipped you and Todd, but that is no longer an option, is it? Sky and I are done, and I'm happy with that. Ty and are happy, Ileyah, can't you see that?" I nearly growled.

I could feel the anger rise up in my chest. How. Dare. She.

"Well, I agree with her." Jesse said.

"Me too," Chase said. But he shipped Lason.....or Lordan....He still, that I know of, hates Sky.

"Well, I ship DeadLapis," Michaela said, sticking up for me.

"Me too," Nicole said.

"If she's happy," Dawn shrugged.

"I agree with Dawn," Quentin said.

"Yeah," Jerome nodded.

"Mhm," Jason said.

"I don't agree to either one," Mitch said. We all glared at him.

"I'm sorry I can't please you with my relationship status," I told my friends that were against me. "But I'm not ever going back to Sky."

Little did I know, Sky would be the very person I'd be hugging later on that day.
