Epilogue

I smiled happily as I left my room to eat breakfast. Today was a good day, I could feel it.

I stepped into the kitchen, ready to eat some waffles and record. Yet, life had other plans for me.

Preston was pressed to the fridge door, a girl making out with him. He seemed so happy. It broke my heart.

I cleared my throat, making them break apart. Preston's brown eyes got wide with shock.

"Libby, I can explain!" He began.

"I can see that. You're pretty happy with her. I get it." I offered a smile, despite the pain erupting in my chest. I hurriedly left outside and to the same willow tree where Ty and I had had several moments.

Ty was there, currently. When he saw me, he frowned. He must have noticed the tears running down my face. Or maybe he didn't even want to see me...

"What happened?!" He asked, alarmed. He got up and pulled me into his arms. I hugged him tightly, sobbing.

"P-Preston cheated on me!" I sobbed. I was so tired of being cheated on and hurt by people I gave everything to.

Ty sighed and held me close. He rubbed my hair soothingly, whispering sweet thing in my ear. He had done something similar after Dylan had raped me. This is what made me fall in love with him.

I looked up at him, examining his face. His dark eyes showed severe concern for me, and anger for what had happened.

"You deserve better. Better than Adam, better than Preston, better than me..." I could tell saying that last line had hurt Ty. I knew how he felt.

"What if I only want you?" I mumbled. Yes, Preston had made me very happy, but Ty was definitely something special. He made mistakes, he was only human. I made some mistakes, too.

"Then.... You can have me..." He mumbled, glancing down at my lips. I looked at his before connecting them.

Ty kissed me back, holding me close to him. I felt safe and loved in his arms. It felt nice.

I drew back, smiling. I removed myself from his embrace and say down underneath the tree. He sat down next to me and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Hey Ty?" I asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Yeah?" He asked, looking at me. I looked up at him and pecked his lips.

"It was always you."
