Author's note: Hi guys. My apologies to those who have read the previous chapters at nabitin. I've been in hiatus for quite sometime because (1) I was busy and (2) parang wala akong inspiration mag continue ng story na to, adding the thought that it has little views and feedbacks. But recently, I've been watching...marathoning actually Youtube vids of Kath and DJ. And so ayan...nag decide akong bumalik dito. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this chapter. :)

KATH'S POV

Finally, after a fun evening with DJ, nakarating na din kami sa bahay. I notice the lights were still on. I glanced on my watch -- 10:30pm. Naku...gising pa ata si mama. She was probably wondering bakit wala pa ako.

When DJ's car came to a stop, he got off and hurriedly went to my side to open the car door for me. Aba, gentleman ha.

"Well, we're here." I said.

"Ah...so dito ka pala nakatira? Nako Kath, tina-taxi mo to everyday? Di ba magastos?" DJ asked. If you were wondering, I live a little far away from school. Mga 1-hour trip rin yun.

"Sheesh. Taxi talaga araw-araw? Kung yun, magastos nga talaga! But usually, I just ride the jeepney naman every morning eh. That's the reason why palagi akong early sa school dahil early rin akong umaalis. Para iwas sa early morning rush." I explained.

"Ah ganun ba..." DJ answered. I noticed he was viewing the whole house.

"Uhm...Deej...interesado ka bang bilhin ang bahay namin ha? Makatitig naman to!" I exclaimed.

"Ah, eh...sorry. Na amaze lang kasi ako Kath. Ang ganda pala ng bahay nyo! Ang laki! Hindi halata na..."

"Oh, na ano? Na diyan ako nakatira? Dahil...parang hindi ako?" Napatigil ako. I think I know what's on his mind. Akala niya siguro mahirap ako dahil sa porma kong simple na pa puntang baduy na ata. Eh I'm not really kikay kasi. I prefer staying low key. Pero ayan tuloy, napagkamalang losyang ako. Nakakahiya!

"Oy, Kath, before you think of anything crazy ha...what I mean to say is, hindi halatang sosyal ka rin pala! I mean...look at you! Sobrang simple! Walang keme! Mahilig pa sa street food! Astig!" he explained while grinning like crazy.

"Ah...sus! Eh bakit, lahat ba talaga ng may pera dapat sosyal and pa-cool?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Well, of course...kumbaga, standards na yon. Pero still, I admire the fact na simple ka lang...kaya nga gusto kita eh..." he trailed off.

"Ha? Anong sabi mo?" Did I just here that right or what?

"Ahmm...I said gusto ko kung personality mo. Hehe..." awkward smile.

"Hmmm....okayyyy? Ah...sige papasok na ako ha? Goodnight na! Thank you sa paghatid. :)" I need to go inside already. Baka pagalitan na talaga ako ni mommy.

"Cge no prob, basta ikaw! :D" DJ waved goodbye and walked back to the driver's side of his car.

DANIEL'S POV

"Hmmm....okayyyy? Ah...sige papasok na ako ha? Goodnight na! Thank you sa paghatid. :)" -Kath

"Cge no prob, basta ikaw! :D" I waved goodbye. Just when Kath was about to walk in, I remembered...

"Kath!" I chimed.

Napalingon siya. "Hmmm?"

"What time ka usually umaalis nga sa umaga?"
