Our hearts tell us who to love and who we should avoid, they are always there for us even when we don't want them to be, and although our hearts tell us how we feel, they cannot tell us how to act.
Our hearts tell us who to love, but they can be misguided. But we know this, so why do we get offended when one person or another tells us our heart is wrong. Maybe this is its way of protecting us, and itself.
Our hearts tell us who to love, we cannot choose who we fall for. Nor can we choose to make the pain of loving someone any easier. This story has been played over and over. Through stories such as this, songs, movies, and other things. But rarely do we ever hear about an unhappy ending.
Our hearts tell us who to love, but love is complicated, more complex than the heart can understand.
Our Brain thinks rationally, but we cannot tell our hearts that it is wrong. We cannot tell it if we are not ready to deal with the pain and the loss. It chooses for us. Sometimes we fall for people we never thought we would. Sometimes even the slightest whisper of attachment can cause us to take drastic measures.
Our brain thinks rationally, and tells the heart, but the heart does not listen. We tell our heart that it should listen, that there are too many obstacles in the way. Too many problems, too little time, too much pain. But again the heart does not listen. It tells us the pain, the obstacles, and the fear is worth it.
Our brain thinks realistically, so why do we still ignore it? Sometimes it's more about the other person than it is about us. Sometime it's them whose heart say the complete opposite. It's them who avoid the conflict. But sometimes those tables turn. There are times in our lives where our hearts can intertwine with another, Feelings become mutual, hearts beat faster, and minds race.
Our brain thinks logically, in these moment's love flourishes, our hearts pride themselves on being right. And you ask yourself, why didn't I listen?
Our hearts tell us who to love, and the answers are almost always right in front of us.
