The group was on a quintuple date including, Percy and Annabeth, Leo and Calypso, Frank and Hazel, Jason and Piper, and Nico and Reyna. (Not as a couple, just as friends.) They went bowling, the boys in one lane and the girls in another. Leo kept complaining about the bumpers were not up, Piper and Jason were trying to explain to Hazel and Calypso how to play, Annabeth was strategizing with Reyna on different angles to throw the ball at, Frank was trying to find a ball heavy enough to throw, and Percy and Nico were trying to find the balls that were their favorite color. Since Calypso still didn't understand, Leo was very happy to show off his moves... along with his non existent muscles. Frank turned into a grizzly bear and nudged the ball. It knocked over his pins... and the person's three lanes away. Hazel always got gutter balls but Piper, feeling sorry for her, changed her score from zero to fifty-three. Reyna and Nico, were both being very competitive. It was their turn, (they would bowl at the same time in their respective lanes) Reyna shouted after getting a strike, "In your face!" and Nico, also getting a strike, said "In your face!", stepped up to her, an inch from face. Caught up in the moment, Reyna grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him into a kiss. He obliged, starting a full make out session. Everyone was looking at their feet, except Piper, who was fangirling. "Umm.. Nico.. It's kinda my turn and i was wondering if i could maybe uh bowl?" Frank asked, rubbing the back of his neck. Both Frank and the couple turned red. "Sorry." Nico said, as he walked back to his seat, without a hint of remorse at all. Reyna mouthed "You didn't see anything." to Piper, Calypso, Annabeth and Hazel. But especially to Piper. Later the group went out for ice cream. Nico asked Reyna what she would like. "I'll take whatever." "Ok." Reyna got a set outside at a table, watching the sunset. Nico came back, with ice cream and two plastic spoons. "Why don't you like a certain flavor of ice cream?" "I figured I'll try whatever you like. You know, maybe I'll like what you like." "Well.... I like you." he whispered, his heart pounding. Reyna looked up from the ice cream, smiling. She kissed him on his cheek. "I like you too."
