The Plan

Lord Death's POV

    As I left my son's room, I almost thought I heard Patty's voice when he squealed. Strange, oh well! My job is way to easy... I hope. Crona always listened to me, I hope she still isn't too upset. I could sense her soul, it seemed to be at peace. She must've been asleep, I'll have to do this tomorrow...

Morning

    I made my way to the school, only to realize that I completely forgot about Kid and Crona's little quibble. Man, I'm getting too old for this... Just as I was about to go back, I was startled (not scared) by none other than Crona!

    "Oh Crona! I'm so glad you're here, safe and sound!" I said gleefully. "U-umm.. Sir-" "Now, now Crona I believe I told you to address me as 'dad', hm?" I cut her off. She blushed, "D-dad... I s-sort of need some h-help..." she shied away slightly. I motioned for her to continue. "Umm, well... K-kid and I sort of had a f-fight... "

    She continued "Tsubaki wanted me to try and actually listen to him... Maybe give him... another chance..." she trailed off. "Well that's great!" I said. Praise death for Tsubaki! That makes things even easier, I just need to get these two together and talk. "Okay then, you and Kid can go and chat, I'll have you both excu-""I-I can't! N-not after what I said..." she cut me off. "I-I trusted K-Kid and... Liz is my f-friend. She w-wouldn't do s-something l-like this t-to me..." she whimpered.

    I feel terrible, not that any of this is my fault. She never had anyone who truly loved her, so she doesn't know who to trust... She began to cry,"Oh, d-dad... What do I do?!" she sobbed. I pulled her into an embrace. "Now now, deary it's alright. Besides Tsubaki did say that you should hear him out and I know my son. He would never do anything to hurt anyone 'cause if he did, he would've gotten one of my famous 'Reaper Chop's" I motioned my chop laughing slightly. Crona chuckled a bit wiping her eyes.

    "O-okay then... I'll go see him. T-thanks papa." she said sweetly before running off to find Kid. So sweet, so pure. I wish the best for the both of you.

Crona's POV

    I ran to Kid's house. I want to see him, but I'm a bit nervous... Will he forgive me? Will I forgive him? I slowed down a bit. No, I'm overthinking this Kid is... Kid is- I stopped completely. Just a few meters from the mansion, I saw Kid... With Liz?! Quickly, I hid behind the nearest building.

    I watched, they seemed to be talking. About what? I tried to listen closely. "Why'd you come between me and Crona?! She thinks I betrayed her! I made a promise and thanks to you she hates me!" Kid said. "I hate it! Why do you love her so much? Why not me?! I've known you longer and besides when you first met, you two couldn't bare to look at each other!" she yelled angrily.

    I don't understand... What's going on. "What are you talking about Liz?! This joke has gone far enough!" he retorted. "I... I love you! I love you, damnit! Everyday I think about you! How our lives would be if we were together, but no! You had to go and choose her!" she yelled beginning to cry. Kid was silent. I could feel my heart begin to crumble. Why? Liz... Why didn't you tell me? I forgot my purpose for coming here and walked away. I think I'll just head back to class, I'm already so late.

Kid would never stay with someone as worthless as you...

No one will ever love you.

    "Hm? Crona, where's Kid? Lord Death said you'd both be arriving late." oh yeah, I was supposed to make things right with Kid... Not that it matters anymore. "There was a change in plans.

Stein's POV

    Hmm... Something isn't sitting right. It might be Ragnarok, but I think Crona is beginning to return to how she was before Maka saved her...

    "That's it for today. I'll be seeing you all tomorrow." with that everyone began to leave. Crona still sat there, strange, I keep sensing a darkness in her soul. Darker than before. I'd better talk to Lord Death about this before I do anything...

Crona's POV

    Crona... It's me. "What?""Hm?" Maka asked. "Who was that just now?"
