I woke up to snoring straight in my ear. My eyes fluttered open and light was suddenly surrounding me, basking me in it's soft glow. I rolled my head along what I thought was my pillow, to find the source of the annyoing sound. And boy, did I find it. One word.

Natalie.

I groaned, knowing that the lump wouldn't be up for hours. I gently pushed my sleeping sister over, so she was lying on her side, curled up against the back of the sofa, and got got up. I stretched my aching limbs, wow, really was a bad idea to sleep on the sofa. I wondered into the kitchen, sleepily rubbing my face. Walking over to the fridge, I pulled out a bottle of orange juice and took a long drink from it. It was at that moment that I realised that my parents were in the room, sitting at the breakfast island, both with mugs of coffee in their hands, each with one eyebrow raised in my direction. I smiled to them, making my mother lower her perfectly plucked eyebrow and toss her chocolate blonde hair over her shoulder, grey-blue eyes shimmering. Yes, me and Natalie are the doubles of our mother, we get a few characteristics from our father, but it is mostly our mum.

"Morning guys!" I chirp, trying to sound happy and enthusiastic, when all I wanted to do was curl up into a ball and wait for Drake to come back.

My dad gives me a questioning look as I sit down opposite him, next to my mother, and grab a slice of toast.

"Good morning, sweetie." My mum replies, in that feather-light, care-free voice of hers. I smile again, a genuine one this time, at my mother, who is still smiling at me, a knowing look on her face.

"Yeah, morning." My dad replies, sounding unsure of himself.

"Did you and Natalie have a good day yesterday?" my mum questions, making me turn my attention back to her.

"Yeah, actually, we had a great time! And, I know one thing that will make this week 10 times better for her!" I grin, excitedly planning what is going to happen this weekend in my head.

My dad raises his eyebrow again, his dark brown almost black hair falling over his green eyes.

"Oh?" he knows I'm not going to tell him unless he asks, so yeah.

"Well, you know how it's Nuts' birthday this weekend right?" I question, wathcing as they both nod their heads, with 'duh' expressions on their faces. I continue, "I pulled a few strings and got four tickets to.......drum roll please," My parents started banging their fingers on the table, in a drum roll fashion, "ONE DIRECTION!!!! She's gonna love it!" I grin at my parents shocked faces.

"Bu-but, how?" My mum stutters clearly shocked, "We've been trying to get them for ages, they've been sold out for months!"

"Like I said, I pulled a few strings. It pays to know the right people, mum." I wink, touch the tip of her nose with my finger, and stand up, ready for the day. Smiling as I head upstairs, I check to make sure that Natalie hasn't fallen off the sofa to her death or anything, then, once I was sure she was okay, made my way upstairs.

I skipped down the hallway to my room like an oversized child, I had four tickets to the concert of the band that my sister was in love with, that meant we could each take one person. The smile dropped from my face when I realised I would have to choose, between my best friend, and my mate.

Decisions just don't get harder than this.
