Chapter 7. Lies

{{Reader's P.O.V}}
"You lied to me" Helbram said as his eyes started to pour out tears "Why...?" He continued, I quickly grab his hand and dragged him up towards the roof of the tavern "I'm sorry, Helbram.." I apologize to him as I look at his crying face "You said that you couldn't leave the Capital, why did you lie?" He asked as he wipes his tears away "I'm really sorry Helbram, I just...needed to do my job there first" I said "Sorry doesn't cut it, {NAME}! I mean look..you were in there for 200 years and you told me you couldn't leave, and I find out you're lying, you could leave! Why did you stay there?" He yelled as he questioned me with sadness and pain in his eyes "I'm the guardian of the Capital OKAY?!, I need to protect the souls that rest there...and I was the one who allowed you to leave! So you could be with your friend again and so I know he's fine.." I said as tears started to form in my eyes "I'm sorry..." I continued as the tears fell down suddenly I felt Helbram hug me "I'll forgive you this time, just..don't lie anymore okay?' He said as he pulled away "How long will you stay?" He asks as he let a small sad smile while wiping a tear from his eye "2 months..that'll be enough right? I still have to protect the Capital.." I said while looking at him "Hope that'll be long enough for King" He said as he smiles at me, I then return the smile.
"You guys okay up there?" I hear Meliodas yell "Yeah!" I yelled back at him, King then levitated up towards us while wearing Helbram's helmet "Let's the continue the celebration, shall we guys?" He asks, Helbram smiles and nods as I do too.

So Helbram is just pranking everyone since they can't see him. King was laughing at all of them, I let out a small sigh as I already know he moved on from me 'Atleast he found someone who won't leave him alone' I thought as I let out a small chuckle that contained sorrow "You okay, {Name}?" King asked as he turns around to face me "Y-Yeah" I stuttered abit, I then give him a small smile suddenly a red blush tainted his cheeks "You okay?" I ask while trying to stiffle my laughter at King's silliness "Cap'n!~ more booze!" Ban yelled as he drunkfully raised his mug up "Oi! I can't reach it!" Meliodas yelled at Ban, as he got on his tiptoes to pour some more ale onto Ban's mug. The princess and Diane were having a conversation while Gowther was drinking some ale emotionless and Hawk was eating some of Ban's cooking.
The celebration had ended when everybody was asleep while drunk except for the princess and Hawk who seemed to walk back to the tavern probably to get to their rooms, I let out a small smile at the two fairies who were currently leaning on a tree, King on the right while Helbram on the left, "How adorable!~" I said until Helbram woke up "I better go back to the Capital, see you later {Name}" He said while yawning as he stood up and waved goodbye as a white portal appeared in front of him "Later, Helbram!" I quietly said as I slowly goodbye to him while trying not to wake King up suddenly King jolted awake while tears fell out of his eyes "{N-Name}..." He stuttered as his tears continued to fall "Shh..that nightmare won't happen again King.." I said as I lightly kissed his forehead already knowing what happened in his nightmare "I love you, King" I said while giving him my sweetest smile. He later then fell asleep with somewhat a more peaceful dream.
"Even if you don't love me anymore, King, I'll still continue to protect and love you"
