Chapter 9. Worth Remembering

{{Reader's P.O.V}}
"Hey, {Name}?" King asks as he looks at me "Hm?" I responded while still looking at the stars "Remember that time I got drunk and I asked you something?" King asked while a small blush taints his cheeks, I remembered.

-{Flashback}-
"Hey..hic...{Name}?" King said inbetween hiccups, He then whispers something in my ear "?" I questioned while blushing at his sudden closeness "EH?!" I yelled at his request which startled everybody even the drunken Ban "Can we?" He asked while looking at me with his gold-brown eyes "I-I-I don't actually know..." I stuttered which resulted in me blushing even more "It'll...hic...happen..hic...soon.." He said inbetween hiccups again but he then fainted after he realized how close our faces were. [A/N]: might I remind you?, Meliodas was also blushing since you looked and sounded really innocent]
After I placed him back onto Chastiefol I remembered what he whispered into my ear.

"Can I kiss you?"

-{End of Flashback}-

[A/N]: reason to why you cannot do the simple gesture: You're a ghost]

I blushed at the memory. "Can that h-h-happen n-n-now?" He stuttered 'How cute!~" I thought "Not yet.." I replied while blushing "O-Okay.." He replied with sadness in his voice "Soon.." I said while giving him a small smile which he returned.

{{Timeskip and now morning}}

{{Third Person P.O.V}}
Ban was asleep on th counter, Gowther as usual was reading a random book that seemed to have sparked his interest, Elizabeth and Meliodas were discussing where the destination was supposed to be, King was having a little chat with {Name}, Diane was just listening at the lovebird's conversation, Hawk was poking Ban's leg, while Helbram was looking out the window.

{{Reader's P.O.V}}
I think I should tell them that tomorrow is my last day..."Hey Guys..I have a favor to ask of you.." I said loud enough for everyone to hear "What would that be, {Name}?" Meliodas asked as he tilts his head in curiosity and everybody turned to look at me with puzzled expressions "Let's have one more celebration tomorrow" I said in a soft voice loud enough for them to hear "Why...?" Diane asked "Um.." I found it hard to explain since I knew they would be sad, I turn to Helbram for help, He then gave out a small sigh "It's her...last..day..tomorrow.." Helbram's voice echoed throughout the room but it was followed by silence "Why didn't you tell us?" Meliodas asked with a sad tone and expression "Yeah why?" Diane followed while Ban and Elizabeth were just staring with sorrow in their eyes but King..stared at me wide-eyed while tears were threatening to fall out of his gold-brown eyes "Ok.." Meliodas said but he was just looking at the ground. I can tell he was probably shocked and sad but everyone had a gloomy aura around them "Is everyone okay with that?" I asked the gloomy group "WE'LL MISS YOU {NAME}!!!" Diane, Elizabeth and Hawk yelled as they ran towards me, intending to hug me but failed miserably by falling down because I was only a mere ghost, I laughed at their attempt "WE'RE SERIOUS, YOU KNOW!" They yelled back with tears forming in their eyes "I know" I said as I gave them a smile "LET'S MAKE THIS CELEBRATION MEMORABLE!!" Everybody yelled excluding King and Meliodas but Meliodas just had a small smile while King was holding back tears.

'Everyone's preparing the celebration, they didn't want me to help either, heh probably a surprise' I thought as I looked at the trees enjoying the fresh air and beauty of Nature "Knew that I'd find you here" King's voice sounded sad and stern which interrupted my peace and quiet, I let out a small sigh remembering what happened awhile ago "King, I'm really sorry" I said with sorrow "I know, but..why? Why did you have to lie?" King's voice softened but it was filled with sadness "I just didn't know how to explain it" I said "You made us all happy, you made me happy, and now you're just gonna leave us? Leave me?" He asked with hurt filled in his voice "..." I couldn't reply to that statement by now tears starting forming in his eyes again. 'No more lies, I don't want to see King hurt or heart-broken' I frowned at the thought and I wanted to do it. So I did.

{{King's P.O.V}}
I caught a glimpse of something glowing in {Name's} hand but I couldn't quite see it because the tears in my eyes made it blurry. But I looked back up at her. She touched my cheek and I felt her lips connect with mine. Impossible. But I accepted it, how I've longed for her soft lips to intertwine with mine, how I've longed for her touch.
The kiss lasted long but felt short. She pulled away and gave me a tight but loving embrace, she then whispered something in my ear after she pulled away from the hug she gave me a close-eyed smile.
"I'm sorry if that was sudden" She said as a smile curved onto her face, I smile as well "How long will you stay like in a physical form?" I asked with a smile "About 2 hours only, but I bet this celebration will last longer" She said as a soft chuckle escaped her mouth, I then hug her once more "I love you so much~" I said as a light-pink blush taints my cheeks but I ignored it, she returns the hug. We then pulled apart, "We're finished preparing, King" Gowther's voice echoed in my head [A/N]: just so you know, Gowther was signaling King using his magic, that means you can't hear what they say, it's like telepathy(?)] "Shall we join the celebration, My Queen?" I asked her politely as I held out my hand which she gladly took "We shall, My King" She replied with enthusiam in her voice.

This moment is definantly worth remembering.

I had alot of inspiration today to make this chapter longer
It was because we had a family dinner at a restaurant even if I didn't know some of them
The ocean looked like it was pure black with bright thingys reflecting it and it was also a Full Moon
And I since I had a lot of inspiration I made the kiss scene!
Yay! i know some of you hate me.
