Chapter 7

I screamed in horror. "Brooke! Whats wrong?!" Asked Stacey. I unfolded the note and shoved it in front of Stacey. She gasped. "Oh my god!" Said Stacey. "Brooke, we have to tell someone about this!" Said brooke. "NO! We cant tell anybody! Do you know what she will do?!?" I screamed. "Well we cant just let her scare you like this." Said Stacey. "Shes not trying to scare me! Shes just not right in the head! All we have to do is wait for the right moment." I said. "Your right." Said Stacey. The bus pulled up to the school and we got off. I walked to my locker. I looked around trying to find that boy. I saw him over at a girls locker. And they were kissing! Ugh! I slammed my locker angrily and stormed to my classroom. This time i wasn't late but i forgot a pencil. Again. I asked the boy sitting next to me if he had one i could borrow. He looked around in his pencil case and handed me a pencil. "Sorry its not sharpened. Its the only other one i had." Said the boy. "Its ok. I can just sharpen it myself." I replied. I looked around the room for a pencil sharpener. There was one on Mr. Montgomery's desk. I got up and walked to it. I stopped in front of the sharpener. Mr. Montgomery looked up and said " Can i help you miss Frost?" "No I'm just sharpening my pencil. "So in other words, your unprepared?" Asked Mr. Montgomery. "I guess so." I said bitterly. "Well miss Frost, my expectations are very simple. All i ask is that you come to class on time, and that your prepared. Does that sound like too much to ask?" Asked Mr. Montgomery. "No." I replied. "Good. Lets see yesterday you got 2 marks and now you are marked again for being unprepared. Miss. Frost you have detention with me after school." Said Mr. Montgomery. "Bu- " No buts! You have detention and thats final! And if you want to talk back to me like that i'll make that two detentions!" Said Mr. Montgomery. "But Mr. Montgomery!" I shouted. "Do you want me to make it three?" He asked raising his eyebrow. "No" i sighed. "Good. Now get back to your seat." I walked back to my seat and sat down. The rest of the day seemed to drag by. Finally the last bell of the day rang and i went to my locker. I was just about to go out to the buses when i remembered i had detention! I put my backpack back in my locker and slugged to Mr. Montgomery's room. I gave him my detention slip and found a seat. I was in there for like 2 hours doing nothing! Finally the 3:30 buses came and i got on. The bus ride was fast because not a lot of people were on the bus. I got off and went inside my house. I went straight to my room. I didn't bother getting a snack because dinner would be ready soon. I went upstairs to my room and started my homework. Then the phone rang. "Hello?" I asked. "Brooke! You have to help me!" Screamed Stacey. "Wait whats going on?!?!" I asked frightened. "Its Sophie! Shes trying to kill me!!" She screamed. I heard Stacey scream and then someone else was on the phone. "You broke our deal Brooke." Said Sophie. "I didn't mean to! Please don't kill her!!" I begged. "Im sorry Brooke. But I'm afraid i have to. Say goodbye to Stacey, Brooke." Said Sophie. The line went dead.
