Chapter four

Ariana woke up the next morning both happy and a little sore. She had had a blissful night full of love and more. She feels a warm ness on her back and knows it's Damian. He's fast asleep holding her close. He breaths deeply. Ariana rolls over in his arms and strokes his bangs out of his face. He smiles in his sleep and holds her tighter. She smiles and kisses his forehead.
"Is that all I get then?" She jumps a little when she hears a deep sleepy voices. She looks to see that Damian has his eyes open slightly and is looking at her. She blushes and looks down with a shy smile playing on her rosy lips. Damian reached out with one if his hands and strokes her cheek softly. He removes his hand from her cheek and wraps it around her waist pulling her to him. He snuggles her close to him and buries his face into her hair and breaths deeply. She smiles and wraps a arm around him hugging him. They stay like that until they both wake up fully and head to the kitchen for breakfast then they begin their chores for the day.

Months Later

"Damian..... It hurts...." Ariana says as she breaths rapidly trying to ease her pain and calm herself down. She has a hand clutching her middle as she hisses in pain. Damian stands behind her, his ears down and his tail between his legs. He had been dealing with Ariana all morning. She had been screaming in pain along with yelling and demanding him do things for her. And worst if all she had been crying and even threw a glass vase at him nearly hitting him in the head. Luckily he was fast enough to move out of it's way in time. It had hit the caves wall and shattered into hundreds of pieces.  He kept trying to think of what he had done to make her so mad at him and why she was in so much pain. Right now he sits on the bed as Ariana clutches him for dear life. He hugs her trying to do all he can to comfort her. She has her face buried in his shoulder her teeth sunk into it biting him. He tries to bare with it knowing she's only doing it to help her endure the pain. She had her hands wrapped around him with her fingers tightly gripping his shirt.
"Ariana...." He says her name not knowing what else to say. He hugs her closer to him making the teeth in his shoulders bite down harder. He can feel trickles of blood on his skin and can feel his shirt begin soaking it up. But that doesn't make her stop.
"IT HUUUUURTS! MY STOMACH! IT
HURTS" she yells out startling Damian. He looks at Ariana who had finally release his shoulder from her teeth. She now looks up at him as she sobs. He gently stands up making her cry harder. He was going to her her some more I pain releaving medicine. He turns to leave the room but she grips onto his clothing. He turns to look at her.
"D...d-don't leave me..... Please I don't want you to go" she says softly. He understands that she doesn't want him to leave her now or ever. He nods and picks her up gently in his arms, holding her princess style. She cries into his chest.
"I'm not going anywhere Ariana I'm staying right here with you" he whispers as he takes her with him to the pantry to get the medicine. He gives her the medicine and the pain lessens a little. She rests her head against his chest as she hugs him helping to keep her on her feet and to comfort her.
"I don't know what's come over me.... The pain just suddenly came last night while I was asleep and now it keeps getting worse." She whispers to Damian. He nods and soon feels all her weight on him and hears her deep breathing. He smiles seeing that she's asleep now. She must have been really tired because of having to use so much strengths to be able to stay sane from such pain. He thinks as he picks her up and carries her to the bed. He kisses her softly and leaves a note saying he will be back soon.
He needs to get a doctor to come check Ariana to see what's wrong with her. He leaves and goes to the stable where Steel is. He saddles him up and gets on him and then takes off towards the village he isn't really like or welcomed at. He pulls up his hood to hide his ears. He needs to hurry and be back before Ariana wakes up.
He gets to the villages and makes sure his tail and ears are hidden. He gets off Steel and guides him by the reins. He looks around looking for the small cabin that Ariana says the Doctor lives in and also uses as a clinic.  He walks around looking on his own but there are so many small cabins that look a like.... He finally decides he actually needs help.... And has to ask someone.
He turns around and goes up to the nearest shop. He ties Steel up and walks up the 3 steps that leads into the general store. In the store is a good amount of costumers and stops people helping at the counter. He looks around... He takes a deep breath and speaks up.
"Um.... Is there a doctor around here? My wife desperately in need of one....?" He says in a loud enough voice. Everyone turns to him. A middle aged man with a cane walks over to him.
"I'm the doctor. What seems to be the problem?" He says his voice deep and you can hear the age to it.
"My wife.... She suddenly woke up in unbearable pain. And it's lasted all day. She's a sleep right now but the pain is still there. I've given her what I could but it doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot...." Damian says as
He looks down. The doctor nods. 
"Very well." The doctor looks up and a sneer comes to his face. "She must be pretty bad if you came into the village. Wolf man" Damian's gold eyes narrow in on the doctor.
"Now tell me why I should help the very women who married the wolf? The one who every one hates and wants dead? Hmm" Damian glares at the doctor.
"If you value you life you will do as I say and come with me! I came here not wanting to cause a big ruckus but it seems I can't avoid it completely,  now I asked. Will you please help me?" He says his voice getting a edge to it. The doctor smirks.
" on one condition wolf man...." He tells him what he wants in return and Damian's eyes get angry but he agrees to it... And they leave.

Ariana wakes up at the sound of the bedrooms door opening. In walks Damian followed by a man he knew was the village doctor. She clutched her stomach as the pain became unbearable again. The doctor looks at her in both fear and amazement. Damian rushed to her and held her.
"Shhh.... Shh I'm here now and I brought a doctor." Damian had blind folded the doctor so he wouldn't know where they lived.
The doctor began to exam Ariana as she was held down by Damian as the doctor was examining her.
After a good 3 hours the doctor finally look away from his work and faced them. It took longer to examine her because of her kicking and screaming etc.
"I have found out why your wife is in so much pain." The doctor say a displease look on his face.
"And?!" Both Ariana and Damian said at the same time.
"Your wife is pregnant. And sense you yourself are not human her pregnancy is much harder then a normal one. Plus I do believe that the time that you carry the child is less then 9 months. At the most you are already 4 weeks but your baby is as big as a 3 month old baby. Within about 2 months your baby will be full grown. Etc. ect." He says as he glares at both Ariana and Damian. And both Ariana and Damian know that this child will be in more danger then anything they've faced before.... Especially sense the child was Damian's.... And the villagers want him dead... And that will be the same for the child.....
"I'll be going now. I hope you die soon you too. Along with that bastard of a baby!" He leaves before Damian has the chance to get up to kill him for saying that.
"Damian.... What do we do...?" Ariana pleaded for a answer from Damian that would make her feel better.
"I.... I don't know Ariana.... I don't know...." He said as he came back to the bed and held her close as she cried against him while Damian glared at the door the doctor just left through only moments earlier.
